never heard of megan elllison, but they say arnold is going to star in both movies? and justin lin will direct, and hopefully someone good will write them.
it also says the skynet story will be wrapped up, which indicates after that no more skynet storys !
so what do you guys know about this, is it still a go?
any more news on this?
any news on a tscc movie??
also read the comments at the bottom, alot of tscc , and moat did not want a old arnold trying to be a t again.

ok well her is some more recent news
http://www.deadline.com/2011/09/fast-schedule-forces-justin-lin-to-exit-terminator-but-he-might-be-back/#more-174016
Things are starting to move on The Terminator franchise, but a plan by rights owner Megan Ellison and Arnold Schwarzenegger to put the first of two pictures in production for the fourth quarter of 2012 has forced director Justin Lin to drop out. But borrowing the film’s signature phrase “I’ll be back,” Lin has left the door open to a return if Ellison and Schwarzenegger will wait until he completes the sixth installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise.
The Terminator franchise has been under the radar since Ellison’s Annapurna Films spent over $20 million to buy film rights during the Cannes Film Festival, with Lin and Schwarzenegger attached. Lin wants to make the film but simply won’t be available, the same situation that prompted him to withdraw from Summit’s Highlander. Lin has been working closely with Schwarzenegger and Ellison to figure a way to end the James Cameron-hatched battle between humans and the cyborgs of Skynet. It would require some effort for Ellison to get the film underway by late next year. She hasn’t got a script and I don’t think she’s even hired a screenwriter yet. She also hasn’t set a studio partner, even though several are interested.
so it looks like the movie T-5 wont be out till mid or late 2013............. that is assuming we arent wiped out in 2012

T5 will probably be released during the summer of 2014. Though, since its Annapurna Films, it could be released at another time during that year instead of being a summer tentpole. But it will have Arnold, so that kinda screams "catering to masses" = Summer Blockbuster.

I'm still not sure if Pacificor still has the rights and is just letting Ellison make two films under their conditions of having Arnold attached or if Ellison completely owns them (either way, the rights revert back to James Cameron, I believe in 2018.)

As for the TSCC continuation: There's been ongoing behind the scenes plans to continue through some tv/DVD movies. The problem is getting everyone lined up as everyone is constantly busy. At one point, the plan was for three 90 minute films to wrap up the series to be aired on Syfy then released on DVD. I don't know if that plan still stands if they get things lined up, In my opinion, 90 minute films are crap unless they do like six of those to wrap up the series, but not a measly three.
