Going down the list, I guess I know what Green Hornet will be like.I Am Number Four has an inscrutable title, so I looked it up and here is the blurb from IMDB: "John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed ... he is Number Four." Now this actually sounds too familiar. Further search reveals that he has a powerful Guardian to protect him (!!) and his death is being sought by implacable aliens. I am intrigued. Do you find this valuable? |

I recently saw a trailer for Real Steel, and it looks interesting. The key hook is that they have metal robots fighting in the ring. They have replaced today's boxers, MMA fighters, wrestlers, dogs, turkeys, whatever. Hugh Jackman is an aging fighter who has been put out of work by the public's change in interest to metal robot contestants. He gets back involved supporting a metal robot fighter. Should be exciting. More than just a futurized version of Robot Combat / Battle Bots. Maybe this'll give the Terminator choreographers better ideas for their next terminator-on-terminator hand-to-hand encounter? Do you find this valuable? |

Has anyone seen Cameron's latest -- Sanctum? The trailer looks boring and completely predictable. And comments say the movie isn't as good as the trailers. Is the 3D a big deal for this one? Do you find this valuable? |

"Has anyone seen Cameron's latest -- Sanctum?I read some reviews at imdb and they said cameron was one of the 7 producers, and did nothing on the film. it is a english made film [I think] and they said scenery was good but dialogue was bad , and they did not care about any of the characters. for one you have to like this sort of thing going exploring of underground caves, otherwise with boring characters it could be boring. Green Hornet............I did not think this would be any good , but saw it and it was pretty good, kato seemed to be a cyborg, did not like that , but overall the movie was entertaining.I Am Number Four.... have seen previews , hard to tell from the usual crappy trailers, evidently # 4 is hard to kill. "Cowboys and Aliens has awesome written all over it.Goodness, what a cast! Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, and Keith Carradine among the names I recognize right away. And directed by Jon Favreau with Steven Spielberg among the producers. With names like this, it better be good! Do you find this valuable? |

YEAH but "cowboys" fighting aliens? that is just too odd to get into.but I could be wrong. If you want to see a realistic shark movie , try "the reef" alot of suspense and no BS. Do you find this valuable? |

Anybody seen I Am Number Four yet?I figure this is another empowered teen wish fantasy. The hero is a teen with super powers and he his being hunted by yucky aliens. He's an alien himself, but he looks hunky instead. So, after that, is it just a chase movie? He gets chased and eventually beats his pursuers? And what are his super powers? Is there anything interesting about the movie? -- any cool twists or intriguing hooks? And I hope it's not 3D. Do you find this valuable? |

Trailer for Thor is available. It's uh, in 3D. Zack Stentz and Ashley Edward Miller have been working on this, Ray Stevenson is in it, it seems that Kenneth Branagh is directing (which may help to explain why a Norse deity has a British accent) and I for one never get tired of Natalie Portman. "Anybody seen I Am Number Four yet? It's another teen exploitation movie in the Twilight - Glee- Heroes vein. You can see it in IMAX (but not 3 D) if you want. Lots of CGI and teen angst. Not a whole lot of depth. Do you find this valuable? |

"Has anyone seen Cameron's latest -- Sanctum?Ok I said already this isnt a cameron movie, but I saw this, not in 3d , but it was better than I thought it would be. the cave they go in is amazing when you see it from a aerial view, at first of movie. it isnt a great movie, and I have to agree that most of the characters are not that likable, but it is still worth seeing once. and I might add that they are not really unlikable either, we just dont get to know them. not sure but one guy looks like reed richards from F four movies? and rest are unknowns. "I assume Arnold will have a cameo. Maybe he can play Cohaagen, who was kinda the governor of Mars, right?"since it is a remake, I doubt it will have arnold in it. the thing is there is no way they can make it better than the original. the cast of original was very good, and the concept /story was new. arnold and sharon stone carried the first movie, as the story was a little weak Do you find this valuable? |

Two upcoming candidates:The Adjustment Bureau -- looks like Bourne meets the Truman Show and Inception, another bouquet to the paranoid schizos. Battle: Los Angeles -- looks like Skyline meets The Unit and War of the Worlds. The blurb says a platoon tries to repel the global invasion. Right. I might see the Adjustment Bureau for the head games and tricks. I am more likely to go see Battle: Los Angeles for the action unless I hear some really bad things about it.
