From the Google news feeds today, I found a video interview of Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz.

They talk about how they were able to visit the San Diego Comic-Con on Wednesday prior to the tradeshow's public opening. They recently teamed up to be the screen writers for the Marvel Comics live action movie, Thor and discuss what the WB studio put together the promote and represent movie at the Comic Book conference.

Ashley and Zack go on to talk about how they first meet each other and collaborated together as a writing team. They also speak at length about their career path including The Twilight Zone, the popular TV show Fringe and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Ashley and Zack mention what it was like to write for TSCC under the leadership of Josh Friedman as well. It sounded like he gave them a fairly free hand. The two also mention the challenges to their stories which come from the networks and seem to be a fact of life in the TV world.

They pretty much refused to talk about TSCC Season 3 story ideas.

Their description of Josh's philosophy of built-in ambiguity fit well with my perception of it. Personally, I don't like it that much; I prefer less ambiguity and more clarity. I enjoy a good story told with clarity more than an ambiguous story missing some real resolution.

They seem like pretty good guys. I wish them every success, and I will watch their careers going forward.
