TSCC continuation / DVD movie confirmed!!

I attended the Starfury T2 Convention in London, along with Veran and Akuji . . .

During the "Meet & Greet" session, when Brian was sitting across from me at our table, I mentioned to him about being a member of a fan wiki and that I was representing the "group" in needing to know one question: Will be get our closure in a DVD movie??

Brian said, "Yes! It is in the works . . " He explained that all of the show's actors are interested in being in the movie, and that they are trying to keep JF the producer (or at least involved) along with 2 of the show's major writers . . Also he explained that it is taking so long to coordinate due to the licensing wars going on with the major Networks; but that things should be resolved soon.

He can't say when ~ but promised it will be forthcoming! :)

Will there be a continuation of the show via a DVD movie? . . .

(b.t.w. this was during a Q&A session from stage ~ so we were not allowed to take photos during this time; but, I put my camera in video mode and luckily the room was quiet enough to get his answer! :P Good to be sneaky! lol

Pretty much all of this we already knew, but both Brian and Dekker made it pretty clear that the ONLY thing holding it up is the licensing agreements and all that red tape.

The bottom line: we're getting our continuation, it's simply a matter of WHEN.

I also gave Dekker a gift . . . from the SaveTheSCC.com website, of the
Connor/Reese 4pack Dogtags!! Told him that they are a promotional item sold to
help promote the show ~ gave him my personal set :) He was very, very touched and
said he would wear them!

Yes! I'm happy to hear about this great news.

I'm glad that BAG was able to attend the convention in London as well. (It sounds like it's kind of far from LA.) Do you find this valuable?

Analysis of this News

1-this project is moving; Right now people are negotiation licensing agreements. Therefore DVD /Blu Ray sales are good : (May numbers and Godfather number are good)

3 Companies could have right about TSCC

WB / Pacificor / Halcyon (Maybe no sure)--- They have to reach a Licensing agreement, for a fee or % of movie profit. No TSCC movie, No money and they want money. This is the red tape.

1-They are speaking about a TSCC DVD movie or even a proper film, I believe that a good TSCC DVD could make money, however a good TSCC Proper film (Box Office) could make really great money.

A good TSCC Box Office movie could be making with a budget of Maybe 30 million, 50 million with advertisement…. TSCC is a plot product no big expensive product full of big especial effects. If This TSCC Box Office movie is like for big public and TSCC Fans could get maybe 200-300 million in Box Office or more.

Two problems, one this TSCC Movie must be understand and love for big public and not only TSCC Fans, No easy work; TSCC have a hard plot, Two a Proper film cost more that DVD movie, more risk too.

3-No money problem, this mean Good DVD / Blu Ray sales or a big partner with money for invest. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Not sure out of the 500 people attending, who were with TSCC wiki forums . . not many from here contacted me about attending; those in England did attend though . . I got to hang out and meet Akuji and Veran. I also know Sam G. was there and Kruellick (sorry for spelling) Do you find this valuable?

OMFG!!!! I got a real long hug from Dekker! O_O

Akuji was sitting next to me at the Meet & Greet table and got up to get a drink from the bar, and Dekker sat right next to me in his seat . . . He asked where I was from, etc .. when I said that I spent over $1,000 just to get there from America, he made a comment along the lines of, "Ohh and I'm sure that was to see Brian.." and I interrupted him and said, "No, just for you!" He was so flattered, he opened his arms and said come here . . so I wrapped my arms around him and rested my chin on his shoulder.

:D awwww

Too bad it wasn't Kyle! :P Do you find this valuable?

So while it's not official corporate confirmation, BAG's word that the wheels are in motion is more than good enogh for me.
