"I just saw a trailer to the movie "Inception" with L. dicaprio as a guy who set people up with dreams they want, and then goes in the dream himself to steal info/ideas. looks pretty interesting , with wild special effects. also has Ellen Page in it.
supposed to be out summer 2010. It would be a sci-fi action -suspense- thriller, and hopefully good.

and Predators , the last movie was low budget and awful. dont know about the one coming.
premise of The Thing... I dont care to see a remake of that, I would like to see a good sequel. I always thought they would do a sequel but they never did, the first movie had the type of ending where it seemed likely to me the creature would survive, and that when rescuers did come , it would be the only thing alive and could then get back to civilized world or be trapped there again."

I could imagine 15 predators being spectators to one young predator trying to prove himself against this group of humans.

Of course, the humans just want to escape. After they kill the young predator, they look for a ship and stumble upon the 15 observers in their "blind." That's when the 15 target the lead human with their lasers as a warning to stay back.

Note that the targeted human was not shot. So they are not hunting him and they are not in the mode of killing him. Shining the lasers must just be a warning. Surely, they must only be observing."

"Just to wander a little further off topic, here's a little light on the Aliens prequel that Ridley Scott is planning to do. It's supposed to come out in 2011. They have a female lead in mind. Could it be Summer?

"Remember the xenomorphs tend to inherit the characteristics of their hosts. The Alien shape that we know is the result of human hosts. An alien that bursts from the chest of a Predator will look more like a Predator, as we saw in AVP Requiem. The host creature in the pilot chair was not human, so its Alien spawn must look different.

Having said this, I believe Ridley Scott actually intends a more radical change, like redesigning the Alien reproductive cycle, changing the facehuggers and chestbursters, as well as the mature xenomorphs. This would redefine the canon. His intention would be to freshen up the exoticness since he feels the original Alien shapes have become too familiar. I am not against this if it is done well."

"To the main topic, this movie sort of sounds like the movie Dreamscape from 1984 if I understand the premise correctly. Dreamscape was about a government project the was using people to enter other people's dream state for the purpose of assassinating them in their sleep. In this case, it sounds like a guy doing something similar but for financial gain."
