He had that same smirk like smile of oh God someone is going to try and dig info out of me again. However, that was such a quick response on TD's part. He didn't elaborate much. I just wonder if he's still up-to-date on the T-franchise or if he's still believing what he heard the last time he talked to anyone about it which could have been a long time ago. Any ways, I still think the whole debacle with Pacificor is going to screw things up for the franchise for a long time to come. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Right now people must be speaking about in secret, working with TSCC DVD / Blu Ray numbers, speaking with TSCC Cast and maybe writters... WB?" You guys like Maria. I wouldn't be celebrating until an official news source reports it directly from a production studio that they will be making a movie. TD is known to respond with conflicting answers for the same question at different times. It's better to assume that nothing is going to happen but if it does one day, then that would be great. I am Happy :-D" See, I think at one point someone in the know did tell Dekker that it was possible for a DVD-movie to occur. But since then, he moved on to other projects and so did everyone else. I suspect the info Dekker has is out dated. He probably has not been keeping up with what's been going on with the franchise. I just get that feeling. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Frankly, TD's reputation for talking to the press about this seems to put any sway on the subject to the negative or still up in the air. We're still no better off now than we were ten months ago. If we really want this, then we need to do more than spread rumor, and write to WB and Pacificor. Because if we want more TSCC, then they are the ones to talk to. Rights licensed previously to various companies are still in effect...depending on their contracts. Titan is still releasing another Terminator Salvation sequel novel in June or July, Dark Horse comics is still publishing its planned series Terminator 2029... There's no way of knowing, but it is possible there might have been some deals going on before the bidding for rights which only recently took place. Dekker was talking long before that happened. On the other hand Sam Worthington hopes he'll be in a Terminator 5...fat chance... However UNLIKELY, it is possible that he's not kidding. That's about it. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

RE: Thomas Dekker says TSCC DVD Movie still might happen Apr 5 2010, 11:32 AM EDT \| Post edited: Apr 5 2010, 11:36 AM EDT If we started hearing stories about impressive dvd/blu ray sales for the boxsets or good viewing figures when its repeated on other networks (like when the Comedy Central started showing Futurama), or a large and passionate fan base (eg Firefly) I think the possibility becomes more likely. At the moment there doesn't seem to be anyone connected with the show with any real juice (apart from perhaps Summer). Futurama had Matt Groening and Firefly/Serenity had Whedon when Universal really wanted to make a film with him. To me TSCC seems to just fading away which is a real shame because I think it had just reached a turning point and the third season could have been amazing. No one in Hollywood ever wants to say no - you may want to work with this person in the future - that's why so many films collapse just before the cameras roll because the backers have to actually pony up the money then.
