Is Summer's mole really gone?

I mean, I watched Dollhouse in HD but I still couldn't tell. There were certain angles where I swore I saw the bump, as if it had been covered up. Has there been any official word? Did I miss the funeral for her little eyebrow friend?

LOL It got locked back in the day by a mod which isn't even here anymore. Not that I found the locking very necessary, but who am I here, really? About the mole, meh... There are many ways to hide it in video and photography if needed be. I don't think it got surgically removed... No biggie... Do you find this valuable? |

I agree, I wouldn't take it that far. That doesn't change the fact that Summer's mole was a key part of her being cuteiful and adorkable.

I really don't understand why this has become another topic for discussion. Is Summer's mole gone or not? All this speculation began after an image from the production of Dollhouse appeared in which her mole appeared to be gone. Now for me it is a non-issue. Was it hidden my makeup? Did she have it removed? If she had it removed then I say good, because moles can become dangerous to ones health. It is also possible the mole was it hidden by makeup for the purpose of giving her character a different look. Either way, it is a non-issue for me. I am a fan of Summer Glau not because of her beauty mark but because of her excellent talent as an actress and because what an amazingly classy young lady she is. She is a beautiful person, and deserves our respect. This endless speculation is unnecessary.

The mole is gone. I read this from a blog I don't remember anymore, and the blogger said she heard it from a good friend of the niece of the half sister of one of the caterers on the show. The mole has been gone for a year, and the makeup guys have been putting on a prosthetic mole for filming. The mole is an obvious imperfection, and it is supposed to symbolize Cameron's glitch, to show that she has something wrong with her. Toward the end of Season 2, the story goes that she overcame her glitch, so the mole became smaller and disappeared altogether just before the jailbreak. This might not have been so obvious in the BtR ep due to the specific camera angles employed. Of course, during the jailbreak, Cameron took a lot of damage, and once again she became imperfect., in fact far from perfect. To symbolize that, the makeup guys made the mole much bigger. It was so big, you could see her metal skull and red eye beneath where her regular flesh would have been. Most viewers thought that was battle damage to her face, but a careful frame-by-frame examination of the Blu-ray vid by one unnamed fan showed she suffered no gunshots to the face. What we saw was in fact a greatly expanded mole. On Dollhouse, they just chose to leave the prosthetic off, since Bennett's imperfection is represented by her arm in a sling. There you have it.
