It's not exactly one of those masterpieces I feel I just have to buy. The only moive I've bought on Blu-Ray till now is "Dark Knight", and I will buy "Inglorious Basterds" whenever I get the chance. I know you are going to think i am sad but i have laminated (if thats how you spell it) the tickets that i got from when i watched it me and my dad thought it was awesome :):):):) we look forward to Christian Bale (john connor) and Kate Connor again in T5. The movie has it's moments...... the action is top notch, the Arie cameo , Moon , the Marcus Wright storyline, and the cool new terminators . WB, at the end of the fiscal year: "Hmmm... So we have our fingers in these two terminator puddings... They're both not performing that well... Oh look! Salvation is performing brilliantly on DVD, let's stick all our eggs in that basket and forget this TSCC trainwreck." That's what's more likely to happen if all the TSCC fans were to buy copies of Salvation to try and "save TSCC." (This, or WB will say: "we could continue TSCC, but only if we tie it directly into Salvation/T5." Though, even this AWFUL idea is still more unlikely than the former.) Buy Terminator Salvation if you want it for itself (which, by your own admission, I'm guessing you don't), but DON'T buy it "to save TSCC" or to convince WB or Halcyon to save TSCC. If that's your primary motivation for buying it, then buying it is counter-productive. Instead of spending the money on Salvation, you could either: 1) not buy it - which will make TSCC's sales take up a bigger % of the Terminator sales for the year. 2) buy another copy of TSCC Season 1 or 2 - which will do the same thing, but even more so. I doubt T4 sales are dependent on if we will see a T5 or T6, if anything T4 will force them to re think what they did and maybe the next Terminator will be vastly superior. T4 was presented more like a video game, the next one needs to be more cerebral ( like TSCC) I have no fear of T4 out doing TSCC in sales, it won't !! The global interest in TSCC will ensure it has the upper hand. WB and Halcyon know there is money to be made in the Terminator universe, that's why TSCC was brought to TV in the first place, and why T4 was done. There is still room for more movies and the TV series, we just need to convince them of that reality. ( It's been done with the Stargate universe ) Post reply Do you find this valuable?
