It's been mentioned in the Freaking Big Push thread but this deserves a thread of its own.

This is great but I don't think the steelbook editions have the proof of purchase tabs. Do you find this valuable?

yes they do. Either tabs or the actual POP. It HAS to be there. When you take off the shrink wrap from the steelbooks, a piece of paper is loose that looks like the back of the DVD. On there, it has the UPC/POP. Do you find this valuable?

Right, I was just wondering if we specifically needed the tabs shown in the link but the POP is definitely on the back insert.

The image is just showing different ways you can provide the POP.

Some don't want to cut up their cover art, so there are the POP inserts. But the metal case doesn't have inserts because the slip cover has the POP on it. Do you find this valuable?

My envelope is sitting here on my desk ..
But probably won't get mailed out until the deadline since I'm notorious for not mailing things. I think bills gave me a dread of mailing anything out, even if its to win something!

It is very sad. I generally buy people cards for birthdays/get wells/whatever a week before the I intend to send it, and then give it to them a month later saying I never got around to sending it.

lol ... I think I can manage to take this with me when I walk out of the door in a couple minutes though..

5. Entrants must be lawful residents of the United States of America or Canada.....

Yeah, I know there is probably a very good reason, but it still sucks for us foreigners. (Gorram, jumped up colonials, lol.) Do you find this valuable?

Yeah, I know and we've been talking about it. But a lot of our prizes are region specific and plus.. well, have the DVDs even gone on sale overseas yet?? Hard to participate in a giveaway when the drawing is before the DVDs are available, right? :-P Do you find this valuable?

Yeah I understand that there could be issues, however we are all grown ups here (well.....almost all) and we should be trusted to know if R1 DVDs will work in our players, lol.

I live in the UK (you probably know this) and have recently recieved my R1 DVDs from Amazon.com, so I can't see the problem.

I am not having a bash at anyone. But the world is shrinking and we can hope that marketing regions will be obsolete soon.

PS. Just noticed that there are dog-tags for sale.....woot! Damn....I'm going to have to get both sets, lol.

PPS. Some great ideas coming out of savethescc.com
