"I haven't had that problem. On the regular DVD, all you have to do is select Episodes to play them individually.

As for my own take, I bought the regular DVD set. I have a DVD player that upconverts the picture from standard definition to pseudo-high definition through an HDMI cable to my TV and the picture looks very nice on the transfer. The episodes are the episodes we know and love. I will say the extras are a bit lacking, but I think that's because I'm spoiled by the Battlestar Galactica DVDs which are chock full of podcasts, interviews, commentaries, and deleted scenes for every episode, while here we get commentary for only 4 episodes and fewer deleted scenes. Everything is top notch except the extras, I would have preferred more deleted scenes and some kind of commentary for the middle discs. As it is, everything is basically on the first and last disc."
