1. RE: Australian Release?

As far as I know we don't have one yet. TSCC is still listed as 'Future Release' on every Australian website. Even if that changes to 'Preorder Now' tomorrow the release date is probably still a while off. I also have a horrible feeling that we are not going to get a release date until the entire series has aired on GO! even though it has already aired on FOX8. Considering that GO! is only up to episode 105 this means no release date for about another 26 weeks. :(I am going to be ordering mine through Amazon.com because I don't want to wait that long. ;) Do you find this valuable? |

But wouldn't ordering off Amazon give you the wrong region?Of course... you probably have a region free player. :) Regions are stupid. *sulks* Do you find this valuable? |

"Don't suppose anyone knows when Season 2 is due to be released in Australia?"No, there's no release date yet, which is bizarre, seeing as we got season one before the US. Do you find this valuable? |

"But wouldn't ordering off Amazon give you the wrong region? All Panasonic DVD and Blu-ray players sold in Australia will play any region out of the box, LG players can be changed with a code imputed through the remote, same with NEC players. Most players can be changed so that region coding isn't a problem except for Sony unless they have changed policy's. I recently bought a heap of DVDs/Blu-ray discs from Amazon and there are some cost benefits from doing so. My shipping and Handling came to $61 AUD spread over 12 purchases so about $5 each. Here is a comparison with what I would have to pay if I got it from Sanity.com locally. Dexter Season 3 cost me $29.50 AUD inc freight, from Sanity.com $43 AUD. Stargate Atlantis Season 4 cost me $42 AUD inc freight, from Sanity.com $75 AUD. Serenity on Blu-ray cost me $25.25AUD inc freight, frpm Sanity.com $40 AUD. Hell, most of the Blu-ray Discs are cheaper than the plain old DVDs are here, if you can play the discs get them from Amazon, just make sure the order is large enough so the freight doesn't hurt. "But wouldn't ordering off Amazon give you the wrong region?Don't sulk. Aussies are the reason the resistance won the war. Skynet underestimated them, and didn't throw any WMDs at them. They were able to rally together and land on California with troops and food. True story. Do you find this valuable? |

Ah yes, true true. I'm still a bit disappointed that someone like Jesse is from my hometown. But there are a lot of people here. Even if it is just Perth.

AVAILABLE NOW!!I just found this on fishpond. It's seasons 1& 2 for $77.66. with free postage. When you consider that Season 2 by itself is being listed at around $60 it means that you are only paying around $16 for the first season. I order through fishpond all the time and have never had a problem. KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS THE REGION 1 VERSION!! Season 2 is still listed there as unavailable. http://www.fishpond.com.au/Movies/DVD_Movies/Action_Adventure/product_info/15409779/?cf=3&rid=2087072871&i=4&keywords=terminator+sarah+connor+chronicles EDIT: Prices rise and fall on this site daily so you need to pick your time to order carefully. "60 ******* dollars for a season Two?"Yeah $60 through EZY DVD (Australian online store), which is about normal for any new release here, you have to take the exchange rate and GST into account. Supernatural is still at about $70-80 for the first season and Heroes is around $70 and that is in the stores so it's about average. Looking for season 1 instores and online your lucky if you find it under $50. I know it is a little expensive compared to what other places pay. Do you find this valuable? |

I ordered from Fishpond this morning. The price dropped again! At least now I will have the R1 season 1 with all the special features that the Australian version lacked. :)
