Throwing around words like "sexy" is one thing for a cartoon that's designed for people in their double-digit years, but this is Marvel's most child-friendly offering. Though Disney had no involvement in making this line up, it's essentially what would happen if Mickey Mouse was directing Marvel characters. It's so kid friendly that Steven Blum, who is one of (if not) the most veteran Wolverine's voice-actors, seems to have made his voice "less gravelly" to fit with the tone of the show... Really... They're censoring voices. I just watched 16 minutes of the second episode of this show on youtube. Here's a clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drotjDbVQhc Lil' kids will probably love it, so "mission accomplished" for the creators, but anybody who watches TSCC shouldn't be getting excited about this. Of course it aint designed to be sexy, I am just saying its gonna be cause I think she has a sexy voice. 3 year olds watching it aint gonna give a hoot about her voice, nor do they know who she is. But seriously (at least as far as Marvel goes) this cartoon is exceptional in the "catering to the toddler" department. That's what I think people didn't realise, and the point I wanted to hammer home. It's far more child-orientated than anything Marvel's ever done with animation. Compare that to either of these clips, and you'll see what I mean. One's from a seemingly cancelled Spider-Man series and one's from a direct-to-dvd movie, rated 12: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYTXcgzKKhk - Attempted sexual innuendo?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gj4AwtO3-g&feature=related - Blood?! Well, Iron Man did build his armour as a teen in Marvel's "second biggest" imprint (i.e. the "Ultimate Marvel Universe"), before growing up into the drunken, promiscuous superhero we all know and love. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultimate_Iron_Man So it's probably partially inspired by that... That said, while I don't like the idea of a teenage Iron Man (it's almost as bad as a teenage 007 - which does exist as a series of books), that series (from what I've seen) is still plenty more mature than the "Super Hero Squad" show. About Wolverine: I remember when a member on here (can't remember his/her name) was criticizing Wolverine for USING his claws as a weapon. What the **** did they thing he was going to do with them?
