This morning I had the unfortunate opportunity to read your Network’s upcoming fall schedule. As the rumors were going around Hollywood, myself and many didn’t want to believe the possible but the rumors have finally caught up to us and it’s sad to see that TSCC will not continue with its 3rd season. It is unfortunate because there’s a good number of people who love the show, love the idea, and with it’s ending of season 2 love the idea of where the writers were going. We can all admit this show will not bring in numbers on a weekly basis like American Idol, Friends, or any other prime time sitcom past or present, but it can hold its own weight if worked on a little harder and smarter, maybe scheduling and planning when to broadcast would be the first step. We all know Fridays are a death sentence for prim time shows; it’s a difficult day to hit certain numbers a network expects. It’s also difficult and an unfair advantage if you match up a Sci-Fi show with a heavyweight sitcom during the week, don’t get me wrong the numbers can be hit but not the numbers networks want. We all need to realize the truth certain shows have a much broader audience. Now I know there’s a reason why you guys are there, you gentlemen are great at what you do, just like I’m great in what I do, we all have wonderful careers. But this move one thing I can not agree on. Not giving TSCC another shot is incorrect move. Do you find this valuable?

The show at least deserves a 13 – 15 week slot, make em’ or break em’ as they say, 3rd’s a charm mind frame. I don’t know how far this email will go or has any weight on bringing it back, but I did wanted to speak my part on a show that I’ve watched religiously since day one when first announce during the Superbowl a few years ago, I’m a fan of the Terminator idea. I will boycott any other show presented by FOX (except baseball and football, naturally) but I will no longer watch any FOX broadcast. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to speak and I wish you all well. By the way if you guys really have no plans for TSCC, at least give them their walking papers so they can move on to another network hopefully. Do you find this valuable? |
