New Terminator Fan Fic "Final Days"

Okay so in light of recent events I felt it necessary to drop the fan fic I've been working on for the past few weeks (before even more people flee the web site). It's called Final Days and it takes place a few days before John sends Cameron back in time. There will be a lot of flashbacks going all the way back to just after Kyle is sent back in time. And I'm really attempting to explain A LOT of back story (or future story). One thing people will notice right off the bat (in my next chapter ) is that this time line does not immediately match up with "Dungeons and Dragons" I ASSURE you there is a reason for this and it WILL BE explained in future chapters. I'm trying really hard to make all the time lines (and travel) match up from T1, T2 and TSCC. I will take any questions, comments, etc (please feel free I enjoy the feedback). Also, this is the first fan fic I've ever posted so I'm a little unsure of how to use the wiki page exactly so bear with me on that one. I plan on releasing a new Chapter every day or every other day until I catch up to where I'm writing currently. Hope you guys like it.

Not bad, I like where this is going storywise!

Just a few things to consider:
Keep it in one person, either first or 3rd, you switched from 1st to 3rd part way through, this threw me off a little bit.
Its usually good to keep it in one perspective per chapter, either Cameron's or John's, this still leaves a lot the imagination that helps with the story a bit.
Its probably best to reformat with separate paragraph for various points and dialogue.. when you keep it all together it can be very easy to get mix up with who is talking.

Just some of my ideas, cannot wait for more! Do you find this valuable?

Yeah I was trying to start him out writing in his journal so I guess that threw it alittle bit. It still flips back and forth a bit between 3rd and first but I think I got the hang of it to better describe it further on.
Probably going to post chapter 2 tonight

As far as the format is concerened, I'm still getting used to the whole wiki thing. It took me about 3 1/2 hours to post what you just read...lol Do you find this valuable?

I'm still having some trouble with the editing feature. The writing itself is going to start shifting more from thought over to dialog after this Chapter so it should become slightly less confusing. Again I'm lacking in the wiki editing area. Still took me like 25 min to figure out how to post chapter 2...Hope you guys like it. Do you find this valuable?

Okay just went in and FIX whatever the DUMB ASS TROLL that hacked the site and destroyed that chapter. Chapter 2 is back up and should be ready to read. Tomorrow I'm going to work on my editing skills in order for the chapters to read easier. On a side not is there a way to lock your page so that people can't destroy your work?. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah Fanfic.net was going to be my next step. I just wanted to get this story out there before everyone fled the web site...I'm still working on the whole wiki editing thing so hopefully that'll come together alittle better today. Do you find this valuable?

Okay did some major wiki editing and it should be a bit easier to follow. I'm still having some major issues trying to convert 1 format to the other but I think I got it ot the point where I can tollerate how its formatted. Hope you guys like it... Do you find this valuable?

Okay Chapter 3 is up. It's a short chapter but its getting ready to set up a massive background story (and a make me or break me scenario as far as the story is concerned). I think I'm getting the hang of the wiki editor and hopefully its easier to follow. Lemme know what you guys think:

Chapter 4 is now up. This pretty much starts a set of chapters that is either going to make or break me as far as the storyline is concerned. I am going to explain some more of Alison and John’s back-story in chapter as well. There are some authors notes at the beginning in reference to the timeline/storyline so take those into consideration as you read as well. Anyways, here’s the link:

haha...I can understand that...I like having large chunks to read at one time. I believe the chapter after this one gets pretty long b/c it'll explain A LOT of stuff...

Edit: Actually it's not the next chapter that is long but there are several that are. I'll be posting about every other day though so it won't take that long to get a good chunk of this story. Do you find this valuable?

Okay so Chapter 5 is up. Any Summer Glau, Alison Young, or Cameron Philips fan should be VIVIDLY familiar with the opening to this chapter. I also think this is where things start to get REALLY interesting. This chapter is a little short as well but I will be posting another chapter tomorrow or the next day due to the cliffhanger ending of this one. Hope you guys like it.

Yeah my chapters are shorter but I'm going to post them faster. Especially since I'm in the middle of a T2 subplot for the time being. I'll get that posted fast so that it doesn't drive people nuts to stop at cliffhanger endings. Do you find this valuable?

I read it, and it's good- I'm liking the back story of the original time line (I guess it's the original time line). I have been reading a few of these fanfic know- And right now I'm really liking some of the ones are started after Born to Run. I'm not saying you need to do anything different or rush anything I just like the the stories that try to explain what happened to john, cameron, and everyone else after the jump to the future in B2R. I would expect that this is probably where you are going to take this which will make it a very good read.

Like I said it's a good story so far so I hope you don't stop- I'm tired of being let down when something gets good (born to run all over lol). Anyway I'm going to sleep. Do you find this valuable?
