THE CAM HENRY THREAD

Alright, I've come to peace with the fact that the original Jahameron thread somehow managed to find it's way into the recycle bin. I admit I only started it as a joke and that thread probably does belong there but the more I think of it, the more this ship becomes relevant to my interests.There is either something very deep going on here or something very sick and twisted. I believe there is no middle ground. Just a lot of pain until Josh reveals his master plan. That said, I choose to be optimistic about this as robot-robot romance is something rarely done in a serious setting. It could prove to be rather thought provoking. 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Well... one thing is certain. Cameron surrendered her chip to John Henry to save his life.Cameron is now either deleted, inside the Turk, absorbed into John Henry's concience, or coexisting in Cromartie's head with John Henry. Given the value system he's been taught by Ellison and Weaver, I would probably say the last option is the one that happened. Plus the last dialogue between the two pretty much sums up what intimacy must mean for an AI in five sentences. JH: "Hello" Cam: "Hello" JH: "I know you" Cam: "and I know you" JH: "Will you join us?" Excluding the last 10 seconds, it was the most intense moment in that episode. Do you find this valuable? |

This is the only ship that excites the positrons of my robotic brain.We have seen JH go from infancy to teen nerdhood in season 2. I also think that he could be the first to AI to learn to love. He is second only to skynet, and skynet is mean. 6 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

If they ARE within each others mind, within seconds they completely understand each other and could be the other. Its the same analogy as when JH was unplugged to him shutting down seemed like it took forever. For JH and Cam after being on the same chip for less than a minute they were closer than a couple married for 50 years.
