As of Friday, August 3rd, Derek Reese is dead. Shot in the head by a T-888. The character will be missed Do you find this valuable?

Dereks death was simple and quick. Even though his death was realistic, writers use the death of heroes to maximize dramatic potential. Down the road look the the Conors in situation were they need an answer or solution that only Derek can give them. Then John will simple go find the young Derek Reese and show him the video of his death. Then John will get home and Derek will be drinking a sixpack. This was hinted when Derek told Jesse he couldn't remember being tortured because something he did changed his future. Also the writers like to foreshadow. example Jesse asked Derek is he thought theie was a future where they were no longer together. Then he supposible shot her. This was another scene they left open ended because they themselvse don't know yet. They wait to get feedback from fans, read websites then decide what to do. Like heroe supposibly does however that show sucked after season one. The death of Derek didn't seem to have a dramatic on the Connors, another reason why. Another ways Derek may return to life is the Connors will be in a situation where they are screwed then someone caps a t888 in the back of the head. Then Derek is the one who capped him. John will say how. Then Derek tells John in the future before I left you warned me. He is one of the easiest characters to brin back to life. Do you find this valuable?

On second thought he is a good character and may have been offered his own show. If the pilot show sucks he will be back. Do you find this valuable?
