Is this what Weaver finds and takes back to to her basement to work on?
I wonder what condition his chip is in? The head looks OK to me, so the chip should be fine right?
Weaver should be able to rebuild him no problem.
Am I missing something?

It's had to determine whether this is a scene where Cromartie is dug up, or is buried.

What ever happened to Cromartie, he definitely has a split personality at this point! :-)

TNG had a episode like this. In their present on earth at a San Fransisco dig they found the head of Data. They cyborg with a neural net. His head had been there since 188X, they could tell from other artifacts in the cave. The Data in in the present 2200 was still with the crew. So in another timeline a data had traveled back to earth left something behind.
In some kind of paradox, the current Data went to earth to check things out and had to use his old head. It worked fine. They build these neural net computers and their cases well :)
Should be cool tonight. I was trying to see Chromarties foot actually kick Jody out of the convertible chevelle. I am counting down till 8:00 PM

I think it's Ellison's the one who digs up Cromaties 'corpse'. At least, that's the impression I got, when watching the behind the scenes speical on Virgin 1. Do you find this valuable?

The Virgin-1 Behind the Scenes Special had an interview with the fx guy that created the dummy.
Cromartie bites the dust (literally) and then gets dug up for reuse.

I'm still hoping Cromartie will escape from Weaver's basement. Garret Dillahunt is a terrific addition to the show.
But, realistically it's not looking good. IMO it would be a huge mistake to lose Cromartie. There's so much more they could do with the character.

I'm envisioning Weaver hooking up Cromartie's head to the Turk and using him as the "voice" of the Turk. That could be really interesting - sort of like Dalek Caan in the Doctor Who Series 4 finale. Do you find this valuable?

To coin a phrase: "Where's the rest of me?!?!"

Wow, even his arms are gone! And from the look of it his power supply must have been sliced in half. Wonder what could have done this?

Anyway, things aren't looking good for Cromartie. Might have to start looking for another screenpic...

I was thinking more along the lines it was a prop and not needed to make the rest of him, I figured he is still in one piece. Do you find this valuable?

I saw a spoiler pic of Cromartie in the basement wired up to the Turk.
He was physically intact. But you can't tell from the photo if his chip was pulled or reprogrammed.
We'll just have to wait and see.

here's Cromartie wired to the Turk. I think this is from Ep8 but I'm not sure

click on view original size.
there's a ribbon cable running from the Turk and down the back of the chair.
it must be plugged into his spine or something.
They don't show the plug. But the cable is very obvious.

From what I gathered in the Virgin1 Behind the Scenes special, that's precisely the case here. Burying a live person is not exactly a good idea. So they made this prop for the scene where someone (Ellison most likely) is digging Cromartie up.

Remember that this is just a dummy prop. They may not have needed to give this prop any arms/legs because the torso/head may be the only things that need to be seen.

I'm not saying it's for sure, just that they may have ommitted the arms/legs from the prop simply because it was unneeded.
