Thomas Dekker states: "Season 2 premiere in October"
Apr 29 2008, 11:31 PM EDT | Post edited: Apr 29 2008, 11:31 PM EDT
TV Guide’s Aisha Tyler was at the Hollywood’s Life Young Hollywood Awards and caught up with Thomas Dekker on the red carpet.

Here’s what he she had to say about her encounter with the future leader of mankind…

TV Guide caught up with Thomas Dekker on the red carpet, who, despite sweltering conditions, was the epitome of cool. And for good reason — Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles are back this fall, bigger than ever. “I’m so excited. We’re going to have to crank [the episodes] out pretty quick because we’re going on in October.” Viewers can look forward to an action-packed 13 episodes. “A lot of very dark twists immediately take place right at the beginning,” teases Dekker. “Lots of changes and lots more action!”

TV scripted shows have been quietly moving to start dates in October for the past few years.

October's not too bad - I just wonder what date they'll break for the holidays. The Thanksgiving/Christmas season is a pretty empty time for TV. Do you find this valuable?

Not too bad?!

Oh well, could have been worse. Ugh I knew I shouldn't have blew an entire season in one day. 2 episodes per week, couldn't stand waiting anymore, and finally watched the remaining 7 in one day. Now I have to live with an empty feeling inside me

That's how awesome this show is ;)

...and again...and again...and again...

If you can't quote lines by heart or replay scenes in your head, then you're not a properly obsessed fan LOL!

lol some of us even when we know the lines get our wires crossed and can't remember.

Speaking of which does anyone know if there is a transcripts page on the wiki anywhere. There's a line in D&D to this day I can't hear clearly - when Tibbs is talking to Derek about Kyle and John escaping the Skynet workcamp - something about wild dogs(or starts off something like that).

Derek: How long you been here?

Timms: I don't know.

Timms: I think I just got here.

Derek: No, you were here when I got here.

Timms: Timms.

Timms: What's your name?

Derek: Reese.

Timms: There's a Reese who busted out of century work camp.

Timms: With John Connor, a while back.

Timms: Mad dogs could lead a pack, I heard.

Derek: No, that wasn't--

Derek: That wasn't me.

Timms: That's too bad.

And on that note... Do you think we need transcripts? I've extracted the closed caption data from all the episodes. So I've got all the words. I would just need edit them to prefix the lines with the names of the people speaking. It would take some time, but I'll do it if people think it would be useful. Do you find this valuable?

Yes, go for it, TJack! Many on this board will greatly appreciate it, including yours truly.

If you recall a thread awhile back on references in T:SCC to L. Frank Baum's Wizard of Oz. I compiled a text file of all possible and definite references that members could come up with, but it's a real mess. Episode numbers and titles, exact quotes, and which characters are being refered to are extremely dubious.

I can post the file here (or elsewhere), but it needs major help. Your transcripts would be just the ticket.

Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes again. I can't always make out the words especially when they bring in people with accents like the Russians ( no offense to anyone - I have my own accent that people probably couldn't make out). And there has been other dialog I haven't always been able to catch - but yeh transcripts would be a great addition.

A yes from me too.

Sometimes the TV messes up and the volume goes way up, then way down..sometimes its like they are talking in whispers. So yes, very helpful :)

Yeah, I have been searching for the TSCC scripts now for about 3 weeks. I found the scripts for the T-movies, but nothing on TSCC.

TJack: seems like a lot of work, but go for it!
