$185 million. Nice. And to think that just a few years ago Titanic used to be the most expensive movie ever made with $100 million. Then again back then the dollard used to be worth something.

LiquidMetal, do you know if this movie is a stand-alone project or part of a projected series of Terminator movies? Somehow, I had thought that there might be back-to-back filming of a couple of movies, but don't really have the inside scoop.

Don't know about back-to-back or concurrent filming like the Matrix or Lord of the Rings movies.Everything I have read says three movies. Depending how the first one goes, they could follow the shooting schedules of the Matrix and LOR trilogies, and film the last two concurrently. Do you find this valuable? |

Halcyon, when they purchased the entire Terminator franchise (for a high 8 figure sum), also bought certain aspects of the T:SCC TV show. What those "aspects" are, only Halcyon and Freidman know.

They should film them concurently, it worked for Lord of the Rings and it probably wouldn't hurt this series. PLus the fans wouldn't have wait 6 years to see the third in the set.

It would be nice if they filmed them back to back like POTC and LOTR. Well Pirates 2 and 3 were done back to back. I just hope they don't go over board with the CGI and stuff. I want a movie movie, not something done on a computer then passed off as a live action film.
