There is no information on the history of him anywhere. I guess it’s all up to theories at this point.

My theory is that he served in the Marines as a sergeant or higher. He has that walk, if you know want I mean. He also has a bachelor’s degree, most likely in law. Very determined, can always find a way to get a lead.

He reminds me of a Jason Statham, but way more relaxed. Do you find this valuable?

straight from the official website

"On their trail are not only threats from the future, but an intelligent and tough FBI agent, JAMES ELLISON (Richard T.Jones), who soon becomes a powerful ally."

Unfortunately I read that part before I even watched an episode so this entire season I was waiting for him to become an ally and it didn't happen lol. I'm sure it was supposed to happen at the end of the series if it wasn't for the writer's strike.

I like the actor, he used to be on Judging Amy heh.

Yes He will become an John Connor fighter. I think he is an ally , just in secret. He will track and watch the Connors for a while knowing that Sarah story is true. The Connors will a mass a small army by the time the series ends.

I think that the show is slowly putting together the beginning of the resistance already. I mean with the time machine the war of the future has already spilled over into the present. Yeh, it's not gun in your face fights with terminators all over the street but it is a war -- a little more clandestine maybe. I mean the bombing of Cameron could even be considered a terrorist act.

This is a new timeline now. It won't be exactly like it was the first time. I think Ellison will join Sarah, John, Cameron, Derek, and even Charlie in a resistance group. The series was probably going that direction when it was cut short by the strike. Ellison had already hooked up with Charlie.

Sarah's in charge. Derek is a trained fighter.John is the AI expert. Cameron is the muscle.Charlie is the medical expert. And Ellison is information expert(he can get info to them that only the FBI has - he might even be able to hook them up with weapons although he's going to have to improve on the ones he's using after the finale).

Now that I think about the next eppy if they had made it might have hooked Ellison up with the Conners. I could easily see a neighbor calling for an ambulance, Charlie hearing the call, and Ellison hitching a ride with him or following him to the Conners.Of course no telling where they'll go now since it'll be the opening eppy rather just mid-season. That is way cool. Yeah I heard she boxes, but I don't know how much. But since she's a boxer, I'm sure her hands can handle quite a lot. That sort of spills into another thread, but that's interesting.

You are going in a doable direction. Now that we think about it ,the resistance fighters started before judgement day. Skynet made John and Sarah what they are.

I seen in an interview of the cast that they respect her as to hitting hard and hold her own. That was the men talking. Way too cool it is sarah for sure.

Imagine the look on Ellison's face when he sees Cameron, as she emerges from the exploded Jeep. Two Terminators!! (he already saw Cromartie, as well all know) He might be wondering how many there are. John and Sarah will fill him in and I think thats when he becomes an ally.

If they can finally tie in Ellison in the same scene's as the Connor's, Cameron, and Derek it will pick up the pace of the show. Everytime there was a scene with Ellison it slowed the show down a bit. Because he's trying to play catch up with what we already know, and it's very frustrating as a viewer. It's like come on already met up with them and let's kick some ass. It's a pet peave I have espically when I watch a comic book franchise turned into a movie. They take forever to set everything up for all of those who never read the comic before.

Anyone ever watch Charmed? Remember the cop? He wasn't in all the episodes but he was there when the girls needed some legal assitance and whatnot. I wonder if Ellison is going to be like that. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Well, at this point he is not an ally yet, and he will do the most good if he can keep his job. Too bad it took the loss of his colleague (don't remember her name) and many other agents dead to convince him that the threat is real. But I still don't think he really understands. If he did then he would have known why the cyborg kept him alive. I think it was because Ellison should lead him to the Connors.

Maybe it's my imagination, but I get the impression that Ellison's character is in doubt at the Bureau because some past activities. Something that Agent Simpson may have said. Anybody else get that?
