Yes, he was watching them leave the resistence safe house in the pilots second episode. That is more then likely why the terminator was playing dead in the house his missions was to go there and kill like 6 of them but there was only 5 so he played dead hoping the other one would come home and rush to his friends and not realise there was one more person the their should have been. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Since the storyline is already in a paradoxical mess... don't be surprise if it turns out to be none other than Kyle Reese! 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Actually there were 4 resistance fighters. The fourth guy is this mysterious one that we saw. And if you recall what Sarah said before Glau-bot walked by with her lingere and boots, she got information on the resistance members from the paperwork she got out of the bag they pulled from the safe. According to Sarah, the resistance fighters were a skynet thrashing group, sent to wreck havoc with skynet. However, we were lead to believe that skynet doesn't exist yet, and only the seeds of the future exist in 2007.

I hope they get to elaborate more on that topic.

The guy in bushes cannot be Kyle Reese because according to age calculations Kyle would be around 5 years old at this time. It is possible that we may see Kyle as a kid. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Ah... me thinks you forgot about ye ol' time machine. Obviously these resistance fighters are from the future. With the liberties these writers have been taking already I wouldn't be surprised. What if Kyle knocks up Sarah again, and this offspring is actually the real John Connor aka leader of the resistance fighters.

"...............because according to age calculations Kyle would be around 5 years old at this time.........."
So Kyle is the same age as the kid from Canton who came back in time and died.
I don't see how this is a paradoxical mess, but then again I only follow ideas not words.

It can not be Kyle Reese because he can only go back once. And he can not waste the send back to 2007 because that means he will not go to 1984 and John will not be born. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Besides, Kyle told Sarah that the time machine was destroyed after he went through it. Do you find this valuable?
