It's so awful they just cancel the greatest TV show that I've ever seen in my entire life! I really hope this film happens very soon,
I've been hearing about this continuation in a year now! "

Seems we have to wait for all the red tape to clear.
Pacificor still holds the rights and is waiting for the offers and money to pour in.
As soon as that is cleared up, I can see the hopes of the DVD becoming much brighter!!

This was a good wrap-up, summary - a quick little something to muse over the existence of Kyle and John's relationship. Full circle stories are always of a curious nature.

"I was concerned with reading other people's stuff too, but was advised that if your ideas are solid, just go with them.

For me it is isnt' plot stuff that I'm influenced by, but treatments of certain aspects of T and/or TSCC canon or characters. No one has a "lock" on what T and TSCC should be - not even JF (although he hijacked fans with that finale, IMO).

Keep plugging bro. Don't let a twerp impede you from your task of bringing the world good writing - esp. TSCC, which has set a standard for it. I just hope you also write good science fiction!

My English teacher once told me to not worry about "English." Just read, and WRITE; you'll get to a point where you find your "voice" and when you do you are more than a "writer" you are a good communicator.

Problem is most folk don't READ as much anymore (so they complain about long posts, or "fix" the grammar in a sentence: BTW: how did they know YOU didn't intend to write it that way?"

Thank you for the advice. What your English teacher told you, I can now remember hearing that advice as well. It has been a while since high school English. When I started writing my story, I was just concerned about getting all those ideas down on "paper," actually 1's and0's on a hard drive, and then I concerned myself with grammar and spelling and punctuation. Some think what I post is bad, they should have seen the first draft! Whoa, talk about rough copy!

I have had many ideas and I've been surprised at the similarity between my own and others. That is pretty much the other reason for not reading other fanfic's. I want my ideas to be as original as they can be.

I am trying to stay loyal to the characters, and TV series and write something compelling and interesting.

If it helps, I've read A/U stories that pick up where televised story ended and then takes everyone in a different direction in comparison to the rest of the series. Sometimes A/U just takes our characters, keeps them within the Terminator Universe, but goes off on a whole new story line. I've seen A/U integrate portions of televised stories and sometimes ignore them altogether. A/U allows almost unrestricted freedom with the characters and storyline - to go completely off base as it were. Only the Lonely being one such story as an example of A/U. A great Jameron love story but definitely A/U.
