If TSCC is canceled what will Fox replace it with?
Read it and weep! And I mean literally weep, what a sad, pathetic line up.

Friday night's action/scifi lineup turned out to be a flop. They'll probably move reality shows there, and replace TSCC and DH with Human Target and potentially Virtuality headlined by Sienna Guillory.
Glee will follow American Idol. Fringe will move, maybe pair up with Bones?

I will take my TV out in the street and set fire to it in protest if they replace TSCC with garbage.
And I will NEVER watch another show again.

Im afraid that if we do get a third season as a result of fan outcry.... it will end up like Jericho..... a phoned in, half assed way to conclude the series.

In general, TV ratings are down. Fox needs to look at TSCC as an investment. If they do reruns of the show on Scifi channel this summer, they're going to widen the audience for the show, which means it will do much better on a weeknight. We were doing fine until Fox had the dumbass idea of moving the show to Fridays. If this show has bad ratings, I hope Fox is man enough to take responsibility for it instead of trying to blame the show. TSCC can potentiall pull as many as 7 million viewers a week, but Fox and Warner Bros. are going to have to work for it, and make sure the audience grows! And get it off of that crappy Friday Slot of Death!
This show and its fans should not be punished for Fox's mistakes.

this week that talks about the likelihood that TSCC won't be renewed it went on to say how it had the worst stability index of any show. I know there are lots of reasons why that maybe but it is true. It is almost impossible to figure out why last nights amped up finale with a t4 promo did not do better. The shows fanbase is "unstable" that scares everyone in the industry..... uncertainty.

Agreed
I wonder if we were to look at other shows (and someone should try this) to see where THEIR ratings stand...and i bet they will be down as well........Hell, i'm even willing to be that even the mighty House's ratings are down. I DO NOT think that just because TSCC didnt get stellar ratings that it should be cut.
And besides, it WAS Good Friday...AND there was bad weather in many parts of the country.

That's easy though, it's the shows overall styling.
They can't get it to sell as a straight action show, because half the episodes(mostly in season 2) there's 5-8 minutes of it at most. And no one is going to buy into a Terminator show being pawned off as a drama story.
The lack of consistency in what the show is, causes the lack of consistency in the viewers.

If we actually did that. If the fans actually did that, I wonder if there would be an effect. If there was no S3 for TSCC and we all vowed to never watch FOX... even for Bones or House or 24, I wonder if it would make any impact? Hmm.

I actually DID have my cable disconnected, and will only reconnect it next fall if TSCC comes back. If TSCC gets canceled I certainly will never watch Fox again--why start a new show and get involved with the story only to have it yanked?

Exactly.
And the thing that ticks me off is that every time i start watching a new show, it gets pulled. Needless to say i am very cautious in what shows i watch.
I'm starting to like Dollhouse and i bet you 10 billion dollars it will get pulled as well.
Personally.........I think the people who run the networks are very narrow-minded. And I also think people dont know a good show when they see it.

How Fox handles the situation will play a role in if I watch any of their shows next Fall. If they go silent until May 18th, and conveniently leave TSCC off the schedule, I'm done. I kinda like Fringe, Dollhouse is pretty "meh", and nothing new looks all too exciting next season.
I got Stargate Universe to watch next Fall, I don't see anything else.

How about not showing the final two episodes of the season during one of the busiest travel weeks in the spring..?

Unstable?? Hmm well maby, but if you look at the numbers for each episode this season we were for the most part in the 3millions..

I hate to think of TSCC not being around for a season 3. My question is this, however: With the advent of DVR and dual recording technologies (I have Dish Network) is any consideration/acknowledgement given to recorded shows? Because, seriously, there are shows that I love, but don't watch live because I enjoy being able to skip commercials. TSCC is definitely one of these shows! My fiancee has missed many of his favorites because I refuse to miss this one!

You're making a self-defeating argument there - skipping commercials is THE REASON that networks DON'T like to count DVR ratings...
Commercials pay the bills - if you ain't watching the commercials, they could care less if you're watching the show.

One of the reasons it doesn't do well when it airs is because they put the episodes on the Fox website. I used to watch it when it aired but when I found out that they put the episodes online thats where I started watching them. I stopped watching the night it airs and just watch it online at my own leisure. I doubt I'm alone and that hurts the ratings.

Not too worry. Fox wanted the ratings to be low. Read the story of the surprise attack in the Yom Kippur War. I believe last Friday night was a suprise attack on CBS. Much like Future John's suprise attack on Skynet to run out the world's oil reserves. TSCC is the first show to be intergrated with DVRs and the internet. And it was designed to be missed by CBS...and us. I believe the full force of Fox's suprise attack will be launched by opening the movie. by then, too late for CBS to respond. People are bored with TV...they are on the internet while they watch CSI. After realizing what Fox did last week in TSCC, Monday's 24 was very boring for me, especially when I figured out why Tony is on the bad side.
Ratings is war. Fox used Art of War principles on CBS. So did Future John, So did a Scottish family on the English language.
