This was published back in May. While nothing massively fruitful has happened since then, there has still been a buzz about the future of TSCC.

Halcyon is auctioning off rights, which hopefully will be picked up someone who can turn the situation around; however a season three isn't likely for a multitude of reasons, even if someone financially backs and airs the show. Some of those would include the belief that the show's story arc/story-line isn't capable of fulfilling a full season, without jeopardizing the integrity of the show itself.

A direct to DVD movie would be more likely, and then they can finally cut the cord so to speak; but all that depends upon Halcyon, which has given a schedule/deadline for about February 2010.
