The next night Kyle and Kilee where setting at their favorite spot. It was on top of one of the battlements, they sat here to watch the sun go down. This is where the four older boys found them again. "Hey look at the double K's" They started teasing right away. "Why don't you just shut up?" Kilee said she felt the tension increase in Kyle's body. "Why don't the two of you spend the night out there!" he pointed to the waste land in front of the camp. The leader added "What's the matter Reese not male enough to spend one night in the open" Kilee's heart sank as Kyle stood up "Alright we will Tonight even." With that he took Kilee's hand and they jumped down from the battlement to the pile of hay in a truck below then walked out across the no man's land. They sat together on some rocks as the sun sank and full darkness came on. The boys remained on the battlement until the alarm sounded. The HK"S where nearly on top of the two children. Kilee grabbed Kyle's arm and they ran around to the main doors, but they where to late. They had already been locked. Kyle looked around neither had a weapon and the machines where closing in. One had seen them and was starting to target them when Kilee pulled Kyle around the building. There was a small opening that lead to a shaft. Kilee pushed Kyle through with a promise that she would be right behind. As he hit the bottom he turned to look up at her. Her head and shoulders where through the hole, but the machine was stronger and pulling her back by the legs. Kyle tried to grab her screaming for help. He was pushed aside by Derek and another solider both trying to reach Kilee as she disappeared through the hole. Kyle's pain filled cries resounded through the empty room as Derek tried to comfort his younger brother. He couldn’t begin to imagine the pain the boy was feeling. Kyle looked so young at that moment.
Derek later, after the whole deal, comes up to Kyle and says ''what happen how did you two end up out there?'' Kyle with the look of anger and dry tears in his eyes answers ''it was all my fault ok I let those guys get to me by the way they where teasing me and Kilee''. Derek asks with a bit of anger ''what guys? you mean Clark Brown and his stupid swinging dicks he hangs out with? shit sometimes I question why Connor has losers like that with us? but I guess good man are hard to find look Kyle I don't believe she's dead''.
Kyle has a surprised look on his face and says ''what? but how do you know that for sure bro?'' he replies ''because one of the guys told me that he's mother was taken alive to work in there skynet camps loading dead bodies especially young girls or some man to''. Kyle asked ''are you going to do anything about this?'' Derek replies ''we have to get the green light from Connor first'' Kyle asks his brother ''can I go with you when you guys go in after that camp?'' Derek puts his hands on his little bro shoulders and says ''look Kyle your only 13 your too young to go out there with the troops plus you know how Connor is never going to allow that''. So with anger in his voice he replies ''Please it was my fault let me make this right besides I have to grow up sometime you can't protect me forever Derek'' He smiles and says ''you can't even fire a gun'' so Kyle replies ''follow me I’ll prove it to you that I can you'll see''. Kyle walks in to the firing range there’s only 2 people there Clark and his pal so most of the guns where locked up but Clark’s gun wasn't he sees them walk in and says ''oh look it here if it ain't them Reese boys back ass kisser and little bitch maybe I should say now its the single k?'' Kyle runs to him and says ''your nothing but a true pussy where did Connor find you? sucking dick for money?'' Clark out of anger from what Kyle told him points his gun at him Kyle responds with force by kicking him in the balls and punching him real hard in the nose Clark goes down on the floor as Kyle takes his gun away from him. Then he is about to get up and pulls out a knife Derek grabs his hand twisting his wrist for him to release the knife from his hand and gives him a hard hand butt to Clarks left eye knocking him down on the floor again and he says to him in a threatening way ''The next time you pull a weapon on me my brother or Kilee I’m going to stick it up your ass''. Clark smiles with blood dripping out of his nose and says ''sure you know Connor is not going to let you get away with that he's needs every human he can find to fight the metal bitches out there Reese'' Derek also smiles and says ''someday if its not me or them your going to get your knees smashed up like a cuckoo reach Brown get the fuck out of my face before I throw you out there on the battlement with no weapons to see how you like it?'' Little did they know that Captain Perry was outside listening to the whole thing with Sam next to him she must’ve been about to walk in to fire off some shots but saw what was happening and went to get Captain Perry he yells ''WHATS GOING ON HERE?'' as Derek ,Clark and his pal stop stand and snap a salute he yells ''NOTHING CAPTIN PERRY SIR!'' Captain Perry responds ''that’s bullshit I hear everything that happens her you Brown you are relive of you commend you are on janitor duty and bathroom detail your going to be cleaning out all of the shit houses until you learn not to pull a firearm on anybody that’s not a cyborg get out of my face Brown'' so he walks away with has head down and has tail between has legs. Then he asks Derek ''Reese what’s your little brother doing holding one of our plasma rifles?'' Derek was about to responded but Kyle standing at attention says ''Sir I just wanted to show my brother that I could fire this weapon sir may I have your permission to show him sir???????'' Captain Perry says ''ok'' arms the rifle and fires at the targets he hit 10 out of 10 while Derek and Perry stand there in shock of what Kyle did the Captain asks ''Where did you learn to shoot like that son?'' Kyle replies ''from Kilee Dixon sir so may I have full permission to be included in that rescue mission sir?'' Perry smiles ''ok gentleman lets go see what Connor says follow me''.
