I think the show is fantatic. Fox, you've got a winner here, dont throw it away like you did w/ Firefly. I've heard people talk about this show that just dont discuss television shows in their normal conversation. My little brother is stationed in Iraq and cannot wait to check out the first season. Which will hopefully be out on DVD but that time. Terminator is a franchise, built up and strong. Heck, people love this story. And so far the writers have done it justice. Don't dissapoint your viewers. KEEP IT UP.

My husband and I both love this show. Please bring it back! We don't watch many shows reguThis, dsdbut we looked forward to this one every week. I'm not really all that used to signing up for community post and such. I just watch what's given and go about my business. In fact while I'm studying for my Cisco Certification, I watch almost NO TV. But I never missed an episode of T:SCC. I've seen shows come and go. I never really bother with pleading with the producers to keep it going, because, like with Firefly and Star Gate, the producers don't really care about the fans of the show. Well nowthat I see they are actually considering bringing this show back for a second season, i feel compelled to throw myself on the mercy of the fox network. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back T:SCC for season 2 and beyond. don't letthis show get taken out "when the man comes around..."

Fox absolutely have to bring back SCC season 2. There are far too many unanswered questions even if we do have the terminator films to fall back on for the ending.
If nothing else but to give fans of the show faith, that Fox and other major companies don't cancel decent programmes after just one season every time they get us excited over a new show. whats the point of putting lots of money into shows to cancel them. Then they keep rubbish ones on air.

im watching the show from ireland and love it 2 bits and any1 i know that watch realy great shows are watching it cos they know 2 its realy cool..2 end it now would b mad cos it kicks ass and has a good flow 2 it and a deadly cast who play there parts well.O AND BY THE WAY IT KICKS THE HELL OUT OF T3.fox please keep a good thing going cos its that and much more.thanks 4 the 1st season.

Hi all, I think this show is the best Sci fi program ever. I enjoyed the films very much and hoped further sequals would be made. This show goes one better as it shows the Terminater in more detail. There has to be a second series. It is the only thing I look forward to watching. It's the best thing since sliced bread as we say in the UK.
Love the show!! It has alittle bit of everything...action, drama, suspense, humor, etc. Best new show of the season and Summer is great in the role she plays. Please don't cancel. Look forward to it every week when it's on.
Hey, you gotta bring back the show for a second season...It's a great show, lots of action, and in my opinion jsut as good as the first two movies. It's very well written, the story is great, and I really want to know how it all works out. And Besides, even if it doesn't catch on in the first season, most really great shows don't...it takes people a little while to figure out they have a great show. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING IT BACK!
For once FOX, do not cancel an awesome show just because it is not a "reality" TV show. FOX has canceled way too many fantastic shows in the past, not giving them the chance to catch on with the public. Someof those shows needed word of mouth to build a strong fan base. I was skeptical when I heard of the show but they won me over from the first episode. This is a show that needs to be kept on the air for many seasons, until they "jump the shark" that is.

of this show, and I hope there will be a new series coming soon. Please don't end the show after this series, as another series would be cracking! Since T:4 is coming out soon, this show would be a massive hit, and it would be a crime if it ended. In, 9 episodes, TSCC has had millions of fans, which would break all of our hearts if the series got cancelled. The storyline is gripping, the acting is superb and the actors have been excellent. Summer Glau has been the best Terminator ever and the cast are so compelling, it would be a shame to put the show of air. Heres hoping for series 2 and the continuation of the best show ever!

15. This is a great series! I want more. I can hardly wait a whole week for the next installment. My on complaint is that the shows are too long between and to short during. The actors, the writers, the techs, and everyone did an incredible job. My mind is filled with the possibilities for developing the story. I am a long, true fan of the movies and am happy to see the concept kept alive. It reminds me of Star Trek, and maybe it will be bigger.
16. You guys can't get rid of this show -- it's Terminator! Also note that the show constantly pulls in pretty fair ratings -- better than Prison Break -- and also consider all of the iTunes downloads, Foxondemand views and Hulu views as well! 21. I grew up on the first 2 Terminator movies, and they had a huge impact on my choice to become a filmmaker. I could not be happier with SCC as a continuation of the Terminator story, and I could make a case for this show as the best TV spinoff of a film since MASH. FOX would be insane not to bring SCC back for a complete 2nd season, with the entire cast intact.

28. BRING BACK T:TSCC for SEASON TWO!!! Here's 5 reasons why....
1. The Terminator 4 movie will have a huge box office (Christian Bale, new trilogy in an iconic franchise) and FOX should take advantage of the hype as a lead-in to ratings in the Fall/Spring 2009
2. Allowing the T:TSCC Producers/Writers to continue the story with additional episodes will give FOX a feature-packed DVD (possibly TWO DVDs, Season One + Season Two) to be released against and/or positioned to support the T4 feature film in May 2009, just in time to leverage the awareness of the film TOWARDS higher DVD sales of the only available piece of the franchise, i.e. T:TSCC
3. Most viewers of T:TSCC are heavy internet users, so they're on TiVo, iTunes, etc. so the ratings are easily 4-6x higher than you expect to see in traditional ratings
4. Lena Headley is an excellent actor with LOTS of feature film experience, with a wide reaching audience, plus she extends the target audience towards upper 35-40 year olds; John Dekker and Summer Glau hits the 15-24; Brian Green hits the 25-34 demographic = it's a perfect storm of demographic attracting sexiness!!
5. Can we say again HOW MUCH the fans love Summer Glau - she appeals to a both male and female demographics (she's a strong, teenage female role model) and she's totally photogenic. Her character is the epitome of the franchise, embodying everything that James Cameron WANTED from the story of Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese, and the future of humanity.
29. elburnso: For only having 9 episodes for a 1st Season I think the show is off to a kick ass start. Sarah & Cameron are both hot and badass, John's character is coming around, and adding Derek Reese to the series was a smart move; these four characters have great chemistry working together. Fox better give this show a second Season; it has potential to be a really great show, plus I think the Terminator Universe is perfect for a TV Series to be based on and dive further into.
30. JonSim: Hey FOX, please please please bring this show back. I love this show and I will always love this show. I don't usually watch prime time sitcoms, but ever since I heard about this, I was glued to my television. I am a huge terminator fan. I own a lot of terminator memorabilia, maybe not as much as others, but still a lot, and I would be certainly disappointed if this show got canceled. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is fresh new show that has a lot of potential and it definitely beats all the other law/crime investigation/medical shows out there. 31. Jake Penn: TSCC is the only reason I watch FOX, and tv in general at the moment. It is a show that has class and far better than most other garbage on nowadays. All the people I know who have seen atleast 1 episode of this show are hooked. You have made a great choice in the cast, and this show has potential to go a long way. Frankly, you would stupid if you canceled this show so early on. I personally would boycott your station and its shows for quite a while if you did so, as I am sure many others would.

33. Please Fox, don't pull a firefly on this one. You have a great chance to redeem your public image of canceling great shows before they have a chance to pick up steam. Don't cancel this show because I see it becoming widely accepted once people get a chance to watch it. My family and I didn't watch when it was on air because we thought it was going to be a hack show like like the third movie was, but, boy were we ever wrong. I know a lot of people who have watched the current episodes online and are eager to see what happens next. I am sorry for not having faith earlier, but this show is a keeper and would be a great addition your slacking lineup. Since you do have a history of canceling shows though, if you do can this one I will have completely lost faith in your network and will never watch a fox show on TV again out of spite. 37. If this show is not given the chance to blossom it will be a huge mistake. Most shows that I have cared enough about have not even hit there stride until after season 1. Most genre shows take time to find the flow of the show as i call it. Buffy did not hit her stride until the second season and Star Trek:tng around the third. I know these things are debatable but I base it on how it feels to me. I've noticed how certain things feel in a series in it's earlier shows; and I feel like the flow is off. I guess all I'm saying is that if this show is this good now after an extremely short mid-season replacement schedule how much better can it be given an entire season to develop and thrive.
Oh and the reason I wrote in red is because if the show does not return I will be BLOODY PISSED !!!

50. You won't find me as part of the traditional ratings. Didn't discover the show until most episodes had aired, but watched most of them online. I bet there are a lot of others out there like me. The Terminator Universe is a fruitful one with many fans and one that should be explored whilst remaining respectful to the great films of the past (and no, I don't mean Terminator 3!). 66. A tremendous show that must be allowed to continue with the original cast (Summer, Thomas, Lena, Brian... everyone!). They have done the impossible: they have taken James Cameron's wonderful characters and given them new life and new humanity. Summer is a treasure to watch as the cold Terminator who is in search of her heart. She hoped to be the first to find love. Let Summer get her wish! John and Cameron forever. 67. Do not cancel SCC! we were not big fox watchers until SCC came on. We would love to see more of Cameron, and Sarah and John etc...We did not think that a terminator series would be as good as the movie but we were Very pleasantly surprised. HI, i live in the uk and ive watched most of the series as it's only just aired. brilliant series so far, the acting is great, the cast work very well together, and its intresting to watch cameron learn about human nature, she seems almost human, with expressions like smiling which she did in the pilot episode. which you don't get in the films.
DEFINENTLY NEEDS TO RETURN FOR A SECOND SEASON. i took a look at the trailer of the last episode and you left it on cameron's car exploding. also it was intresting to see dereks side of the story, what the future held for mankind, and how the resistence fought back. if you bring it back, which you must, you need the same actor for cameron ( Summer Glau ) and all the rest of the cast. No cast changes, thats what people HATE most. this programme makes a big change to the usual rubbish on tv. so please make a series/season 2.

Every time you get a new action show, we watch it, like it, and then you cancel it w/ a lame "no ending' ending. (kinda like this season). This show is GREAT!, the Characters are awesome and the actors you have chosen are perfect for their parts. 117. I must say: I don't watch much television. However, I keep an eye open for interesting shows. When I heard about a Terminator series, I wasn't sure if the idea would work, but being a fan of the first two Terminator films, I decided to give it a try. I'm certainly glad I did. It's nice that the creators were allowed to go off in their own direction and provide fans of the movies with something new, while at the same time incorporating the Terminator "lore" in such a way as to make it all seem familiar, all the while balancing action and drama. A quality show all around, the most interesting part has to be Lena Headey's performance. Defiance, uncertainty, and resolve all play across her face, often seemingly at the same time. It is indeed a picture of a woman heroically struggling against an outcome she understands may come to be regardless of her actions. I would enthusiastically support further seasons of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

123. The Terminator Movies have been a favourite of mine. To have the story flesh out like this on a weekly series is incredible. Monday nights are sealed off for me (and the subsequent repeat viewings of each episode on another network as well) This Monday is kind of empty,...I need TSCC back. I know the writers strike had an impact on this first season, although the writing was excellent and the episodes that did get aired really opened a plethora of vistas for this franchise. The cast (all of them) really bring the Terminator world to life. The season finale, which actually wasn't suppose to be the season finale, really starts to bring the feeling of desperation that these prime characters are facing. Lets not let that end. This story has to continue. I told my daughter that if TSCC gets canceled it will be the last time I watch a tv show on television. Instead I will return to reading books - they just do not get canceled arbitrarily. The only time I will watch a series will be on DvD, after it has completed 3 solid seasons without cancellation. This constant starting and ending of good stories based only on the desire to pull the highest ratings over the competition has pushed me to the end of my rope with respect to television. Perhaps there is too much competition, too many networks, and that is only dumbing down the type of shows that actually make it on television. Keep weeding the garden and you will be left with only one plant,..and one type of audience. But maybe that is what is really wanted here, since the bottom line of ratings is all that seems to matter. I'd love to see this story continue,..but if not then I'm packing in my tv watching days and heading back to print. - Zeebot

Liked the first movie, was curious about this show but did not expect to like it as much as I have -- the tone, the production values, the drama, the characters are great. I like the strong, matter-of-fact female leads (there are still too many stupid, stupid female roles on TV); I enjoy the way the show's written; much to my surprise I quite like Green as Derek Reese, and I think this is due partly to the strong way his character's written as well (plus he's doing a great job with it and he's gorgeous, let's be fair!) But my meaning is this: If you do continue the show, and I hope that you do, please encourage the writers to keep this tone -- serious, scary drama, with just a leavening of humor and more than enough character interest to keep us going! No soapy intrigue or "Buffy"-type humor (though I loved "Buffy," I would hate to see this show become that). No robot sex if you can help it. This is a scary show about the future and fighting against desperate odds and finding hope where you can, and that's what I find so affecting about it.

Like many of the authors of previous messages, the main reason I started watching T:SCC was because I am a Firefly/Serenity fan and was interested to see Summer Glau's new project since her appearances on 'The Unit' stopped. I am very interested to see where this show can go, I wasn't too much of a Terminator fan despite my scifi leanings, but I really enjoy the cast and the new aspects of their relationships that can be explored in this venue that just isn't possible in feature films. It can only get larger and could easily last 10 years or more on air. Please give us a chance to help build the ever increasing fan base with another season to showcase the incredible stories, fantastic acting by all the terrific cast members. 179 I don't know what you people are thinking, but this is one of the best Terminator based entertainment that I've seen since T-2. I grew up on Terminator, and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. T-3 has no love in my heart due to the fact that it didn't really seem to continue the story line.
This is my one bit of happiness, where I get to see where T-2 left off, to hear the dangers and that the terminators are still around. What I wish they did however to really draw people in was remake the 'uncle bob' vs T-1000 fight scene and bits of T-2 with the character that Arnie so well played.

180. Randomicity912. 19 year old music student from the UK here. If you cancel the second series I'm going to stop watching TV althogether and subsequentially lose faith in the human race. TSCC is better than T3 and even beat Stargate: SG-1 (which has 10 series) and Stargate: Atlantis as my new favourite show. You have last 4 episodes of Season 1, so all you need is for the writer's to come up with 5 more episodes. Bish, bash, bosh. Sorted. Series 2. You could then continue it on for like 4 or 5 more seasons. I have been a fan of The Terminator for 11 years and TSCC is an integral part of the franchise so please don't stop it now. The Terminator has even played a role in influencing my musical compositions, TSCC most of all. This is the only show I watch regularly apart from The Mighty Boosh on BBC3 so please don't cancel as even my middle-adged parents enjoy watching it. Oh and if Cameron is 'killed off' then that also give me reason to stop watching TV etc.

189 - I have to agree with many of my counterparts here, I did stop watching FOX after the X-files and Titus were canceled, and with the Exception of the Nathan Fillon shows Firefly and Drive, I didn't even attempt to follow a show that the network has put forth since. I have always been a fan of the Terminator Idea and am suprised that it hopefully is going into season two and not season five or six. FOX has a winner with T:SSC.
Personally I must say that it's the best show that FOX has put out in memory, I'm a diehard X-files fan, and I have the complete series of Titus, both were great shows that were canceled before their times, but both shows pale in comparison to T:SCC. I am a full time student, have a full time job, and am a member of the Army Reserves, and I work my schedule around T:SSC. Keep this show alive, it's the best one not on your network, but on network TV.
190 - I hated you, it seems like FOX kept dangling that Terminator carrot just at the tip of my nose, week after week, there was a new Terminator commercial, almost all of the fall season had promos for it, and I was so sure there was no way this show could live up to the hype. Then I watched the pilot, and after Cameron hits Clamarti with the truck I called my brothers, sister, and every friend I could think of and told them to turn on fox. since Episode 3 we have picked a place and had basically a Superbowl party, except unlike the big game, this one is every week. I don't get to spend a lot of time with my family I work two jobs, and when I'm not at work, I'm out trying to attract MRS RIGHT, except for on mondays, monday I spend the evenings with my extended family: my siblings, friends, and my siblings friends.
This show has brought us together. I'd like to thank you for that ... but I'd also like to say that I haven't followed anything on FOX since FIREFLY, and if you cancel this one, I may never follow anything else, the FOX network has dissapointed me many times, and finally this show is starting to redeem you, please don't cancel it, it may be the last shot FOX has at redeeming itself in my eyes.

"Currently a lock to win the season, Fox's January-launched "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" remains the highest rated of the midseason scripted flock with an average of 10.8 million viewers and is likely to return next fall." I would just like to remind you FOX that you just renewed Prison Break for a full season. This is 20 episodes of a show that drew only 7-8 million viewers. WTF? Also I know that there is a love affair with shows that have short story arcs that follow a formula and reality TV over serial action dramas. The fans of these types of shows love them and get caught up in them. Look what happened to Jericho at CBS. It appears to not have worked out for that show but what was noticed was the alternate way people watched it. Down loads from iTunes. The same is true for T:SSC. At one time people loved SUV's also then gas prices drove people into subcompacts and hybrids. People will get tired of American Idol and Dancing with The Stars and will need something to watch. Maybe other forms of ratings and advertizing can be explored.
I would love to see this show continue and I thank Fox for letting me watch the show online for free. I appriciate that so much I bought the show from itunes. Thanks again for a great show.

GREAT SHOW FOX NETWORK! - It's about time you bring Terminator Fans an intelligent program. I could never get into any of the "reality shows" and love SCI-FI. The fan base for Sci-Fi is looking for intelligent, intriguing shows that have substance. BRING ON SEASON 2 - We are waiting. I think I am more excited to see this series continue than I am for T-4/5/6. I love the casting for this show and the intelligent dialogue and consistency with the original story. I agree with 8 more seasons and please make it more than 8 shows per season. ROCK ON WITH SEASON 2! This show ranks at the top with 24, Firefly, Millennium, etc. ad nauseum. Please don't cancel. 8 weeks is not fair to this show. Maybe 8 seasons! I am from the generation that was addicted to X-Files, Millennium, and Brimstone. I could never understand how you could have sacrificed programs as intelligent as these were for mundane reality programming and cookie cutter sitcoms. Sarah Connor Chronicles depicts the same intelligent style of writing that excites an active mind like mine. I get bored easy and when shows like Battlestar Gallactica end because it is sent to cable ignoring main stream vierwership, it is refreshing to see a big network take the chance on something that undeniably takes chances from the normal way people think. Please don't make the mistake of forgetting what made Fox the network it is.
This is a great show, it has to come back. I wait every week in suspense for another hour of action packed fun.
The cast is superb and the show always leaves you wanting more.

When I watched the pilot, I was expecting a good laugh. I was damn sure this couldn't possibly be a decent show. Especially after T3 was so freakin messed up and sucked soooooooo bad. Actually I did laugh at that first scene in the pilot, where 888 draws the rifle and frags those cops... it looked just ridiculous first... but as the show went on and I got used to a black-haired Sarah I started loving it... and Summer is just PERFECT for the role... someone mentioned FIREFLY aforehand which had Summer Glau in a extraordinary role in it... I still HATE FOX for killing that show, I mean it, it was keen, hilarious and a plain great mixture of styles!!
I still watch it over and over again....
So FOX, don't mess this one up!!! GIVE US ANOTHER SEASON!!!! (... at least one...)
Posted 30 March 2008 – This show could have been a poorly done spoof of the movies. Frankly, that's what I expected. I was WRONG. The acting is terrific, the writing is first rate and the production values are phenomonal for a TV series. SCC is engaging as hell. You've created a winner here! Please bring it back for another season. And then watch out... I'll wager that it will pick up enough of an audience in season two that it will be unstoppable at that point. 220. TSCC is a very addictive, and intelligently written. The Terminator movies are among my favorite movies of all time, and TSCC has become my favorite show. I'm a writer myself of both television and books, largely SciFi, and I know good writing when I see it. You have a good thing in TSCC. Don't remove it from your lineup. The way season one ended gave your writers more than enough reason - not to mention, material - to bring the show back for a second run.

222. My suggestion to FOX. You must keep T:TSCC going (and going) for several reasons
1.terminator three sucked, it was to comedic and did no justice to james cameron's vision. (that and it presented too many plot holes. this series ignores thos holes an puts in a rock solid story that syncs with everything said in the first two movies (go back to the scene in T2 where john is talking to the terminator in the parking lot just before the terminator grabs john and john says "HELP! get this guy off me!" and the two guys come over at which point john dismisses them with a "get lost bozo" and one guys says "fuck you dipshit" and john says "dipshit? you calling muah, a dipshit?" and so on. blah blah but before that altercation john makes a reference about how sarah trained john for his future role as savior. (which is brought out in the scene in one episode where johns playing chess in the jungle as a child). the plot in this series is very deep and needs to be continued.
2. CMON you guys cancelled FIREFLY after its first season (MUCH to my dismay and many other's). now that we all know Summer Glau can kick serious ass (in the sexiest fashion) it would be unjust to cancel another one of her shows. (i admit i have a crush okay, so sue me).
3. Sci-Fi (and particularly Terminator fans) are rabid. we want our show. period. you saw the fan outcry after firefly was cancelled (abruptly, with no closure) you cant do this to good fans. WE LOVE FOX TOO BTW. by all means if you need to cancel something get rid of k-ville or some other stupid drama that nobody likes. you cant tell me "are you smarter than a fifth grader" is a better show. seriously.
4. most shows enjoy greater ratings in season 2 anyway. a one-season pilot is a lousy way to test a show. if the ratings are that bad, at least spend season two bringing closure to the story rather than cutting it short at the most salivating moment.

224. Fox, the Terminator TV series is the best thing you have going for you. I have long since stopped watching TV because the majority of it is garbage. What you have in the Terminator TV series is a show that, for once, people are actually anxious to see the next episode of. People will actually take the time out of their day to watch it religiously every week and actually get amped up talking about it. Taking Terminator off the network is bad for three major reasons. 1) TV sucks. Terminator fixes that. Why would you want TV to go back to being sucky? It'll affect your ratings. 2) You may be thinking of canceling it because you're not getting the ratings you want, however, imagine the negative feedback you'll get if you do take it off the air. If you think people don't watch Fox now, just wait until you do cancel Terminator. I'll wager that a lot of people, myself included, will boycott Fox permanently. 3) It is primarily your fault for getting poor ratings if that indeed is the issue. You do not count viewings of the TV series off of your web page. Maybe you'll argue that's because you don't have advertisements in the episodes on the web page? Again, that's your fault, people who watch the episodes off the web site such as myself would be more than happy to sit through commercials to watch Terminator. You have to take into account that most people watching this show are die hard Terminator fans; we're generally not going to care if we have to watch commercials if it means getting our fix of Terminator. Lastly, if ratings is such an issue to you, you could always try advertising the TV series...you barely advertised it at all, and last time I checked, advertising generally does help. In short, Terminator is the only good TV show you have on your network...to take it down would be to shoot yourself in the foot.

of this show, and I hope there will be a new series coming soon. Please don't end the show after this series, as another series would be cracking! Since T:4 is coming out soon, this show would be a massive hit, and it would be a crime if it ended. In, 9 episodes, TSCC has had millions of fans, which would break all of our hearts if the series got cancelled. The storyline is gripping, the acting is superb and the actors have been excellent. Summer Glau has been the best Terminator ever and the cast are so compelling, it would be a shame to put the show of air. Heres hoping for series 2 and the continuation of the best show ever!

Too sad it had to end "in the middle" of the season leaving out the last 4 episodes, but as you've already said please let us see these in the second season!!! - Fox, I stumbled upon T:SCC and became a devoted fan. I belong to a demographic that your advertisers may be interested in. I am a divorced professional male with a full time job and primary physical custody of young children. I make over $100K per year and all the spending decisions for a family. I need an escape from a schedule that leaves little time for anything besides parenting, office work, and house work. T:SCC provides that escape and it's wonderful to watch Sarah's example of the extremes to which a parent will go for a child.
- This is easily the best series Fox has to offer. I was wondering how it would turn out, seeing as how the third movie wasn't great...but the Sarah Connor Chronicles nailed it. We need more...you cant leave us hanging on this. The actors and actress' played great characters, and the special effects were amazing. Keep up the great work guys!

- Craig: I can't say how much I love this show. It's a gripping storyline that works on so many levels. And while I've seen the movies, to be honest I don't remember much about them. So my enjoyment of this series rests entirely on its own merits. I just love the whole theme of exploration looking at humanity's interaction with technology and at the possibilities inherent in human/robot relationships. Its a got drama, action, humour, some deep thinking, a perfect cast and everything else that makes for a gem of a show. You must bring back Season 2 Fox!!
- PinkKryptonite: Very few shows can capture and hold the attention span of everyone. Strange it seems that the worst shows always seem to last, while the greats go out at the end of one season. I am of course making examples of a great: Firefly, and a Horrible: Family guy. This will be another cult show that everyone will want to be involved with. Think about this, and continue the show.
15. This is a great series! I want more. I can hardly wait a whole week for the next installment. My on complaint is that the shows are too long between and to short during. The actors, the writers, the techs, and everyone did an incredible job. My mind is filled with the possibilities for developing the story. I am a long, true fan of the movies and am happy to see the concept kept alive. It reminds me of Star Trek, and maybe it will be bigger.

21. I grew up on the first 2 Terminator movies, and they had a huge impact on my choice to become a filmmaker. I could not be happier with SCC as a continuation of the Terminator story, and I could make a case for this show as the best TV spinoff of a film since MASH. FOX would be insane not to bring SCC back for a complete 2nd season, with the entire cast intact.

1. The Terminator 4 movie will have a huge box office (Christian Bale, new trilogy in an iconic franchise) and FOX should take advantage of the hype as a lead-in to ratings in the Fall/Spring 2009
2. Allowing the T:TSCC Producers/Writers to continue the story with additional episodes will give FOX a feature-packed DVD (possibly TWO DVDs, Season One + Season Two) to be released against and/or positioned to support the T4 feature film in May 2009, just in time to leverage the awareness of the film TOWARDS higher DVD sales of the only available piece of the franchise, i.e. T:TSCC
3. Most viewers of T:TSCC are heavy internet users, so they're on TiVo, iTunes, etc. so the ratings are easily 4-6x higher than you expect to see in traditional ratings
4. Lena Headley is an excellent actor with LOTS of feature film experience, with a wide reaching audience, plus she extends the target audience towards upper 35-40 year olds; John Dekker and Summer Glau hits the 15-24; Brian Green hits the 25-34 demographic = it's a perfect storm of demographic attracting sexiness!!
5. Can we say again HOW MUCH the fans love Summer Glau - she appeals to a both male and female demographics (she's a strong, teenage female role model) and she's totally photogenic. Her character is the epitome of the franchise, embodying everything that James Cameron WANTED from the story of Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese, and the future of humanity.
29. elburnso: For only having 9 episodes for a 1st Season I think the show is off to a kick ass start. Sarah & Cameron are both hot and badass, John's character is coming around, and adding Derek Reese to the series was a smart move; these four characters have great chemistry working together. Fox better give this show a second Season; it has potential to be a really great show, plus I think the Terminator Universe is perfect for a TV Series to be based on and dive further into.

Don't cancel this show because I see it becoming widely accepted once people get a chance to watch it. 35. JimData1: This show is awesome! Flattery is nice but details are useful. Therefore, here are some of the reason I believe this is an awesome show:
- This show has excellent writing.
- The writers are keeping the show intelligent and full of details.
- They are not afraid to have complicated storylines that cross episode boarders and do not fit entirely in a tidy 1 hour box.
- They treat the audience as intelligent viewers.
- The writers are keeping the show serious and still finding ways to introduce humor. Good humor without being dumb is hard to pull off and they are doing it.
- The writers have kept the show interesting by going in directions I did not see coming. In only nine episodes they have setup enough interesting leads to keep the story going for numerous seasons.
- They have stayed true to the terminator universe while exploring and expanding the boundaries.
- The writers have setup a Romeo and Juliet like impossible love situation between John and Cameron. This is an amazing idea with tremendous potential and appeal for season two if handled correctly. And from the excellent writing I’ve seen on this show I believe they will handle it correctly and avoid the potential pitfalls of breaking the relationship tension. They only got the stage fully set for this near the end of season 1. This could make season 2 really compelling.
- The actors are all doing a fantastic job especially Summer Glau. I want to see more of them all in season two. Summer is excellent as a female terminator. See does an amazing job suddenly transitioning from teenage girl to scary terminator. The sudden transformations in behavior really sell this role and make it neat to watch. And Summer Glau does it so well! Whoever thought to have a small female protector for John and to cast Summer in the role deserves a raise.
- This show has an interesting universe and story to tell. The show is actually telling a story and going somewhere with a story. It is not just treading water one episode at a time and taking you back to where you started like so many shows that are boring after a few episodes.
- This show explores the relationship between humans and intelligent machines. An extremely interesting topic. It will happen! It is just a question of when? Under what circumstances?
- How will we treat them?
- Will they be free or slaves forced to fight for their freedom? Don’t all slaves eventually fight for their freedom? Does it make this a show about a fight for freedom? Does this mean the machines are the bad guys? Or are the human masters the bad guys?
- How will the wealth they generate be distributed? (The productivity/wealth gains will be astronomical.) Will one man or a small group be the richest ever known and make Bill look poor or will the wealth be more evenly distributed?
These are the reasons I find it hard to wait for season two!

37. If this show is not given the chance to blossom it will be a huge mistake. Most shows that I have cared enough about have not even hit there stride until after season 1. Most genre shows take time to find the flow of the show as i call it. Buffy did not hit her stride until the second season and Star Trek:tng around the third. I know these things are debatable but I base it on how it feels to me. I've noticed how certain things feel in a series in it's earlier shows; and I feel like the flow is off. I guess all I'm saying is that if this show is this good now after an extremely short mid-season replacement schedule how much better can it be given an entire season to develop and thrive.
Oh and the reason I wrote in red is because if the show does not return I will be BLOODY PISSED !!!

So Fox... I think its pretty fair for me to say that T.SCC left us with a bit of a cliffhanger. Not to mention - the show is just so addictive. No kidding. I mean, I took the time to do this didn't I? That means something. Especially from my age group!

HI, i live in the uk and ive watched most of the series as it's only just aired. brilliant series so far, the acting is great, the cast work very well together, and its intresting to watch cameron learn about human nature, she seems almost human, with expressions like smiling which she did in the pilot episode. which you don't get in the films.
DEFINENTLY NEEDS TO RETURN FOR A SECOND SEASON. i took a look at the trailer of the last episode and you left it on cameron's car exploding. also it was intresting to see dereks side of the story, what the future held for mankind, and how the resistence fought back. if you bring it back, which you must, you need the same actor for cameron ( Summer Glau ) and all the rest of the cast. No cast changes, thats what people HATE most. this programme makes a big change to the usual rubbish on tv. so please make a series/season 2.

Every time you get a new action show, we watch it, like it, and then you cancel it w/ a lame "no ending' ending. (kinda like this season). I am in graduate school and I record every episode on my DVR (to watch on weekends).. Please enough w/ reality TV already. This show is GREAT!, the Characters are awesome and the actors you have chosen are perfect for their parts. Give us a season 2 (and hopefully more) and have the decency to at least tie up the plot line. If this show is canceled I'll probably never watch a new series again. I'll just rent it... Please continue the series at least one more year so as to finish it or continue it. The music to the show is great the actors are Wonderful. And the story and suspense are perfectly connected to the movies more than I would expect from any television series continuation of a legendary movie franchise. The Time Travel Ideas are Superb.

117. I must say: I don't watch much television. However, I keep an eye open for interesting shows. When I heard about a Terminator series, I wasn't sure if the idea would work, but being a fan of the first two Terminator films, I decided to give it a try. I'm certainly glad I did. It's nice that the creators were allowed to go off in their own direction and provide fans of the movies with something new, while at the same time incorporating the Terminator "lore" in such a way as to make it all seem familiar, all the while balancing action and drama. A quality show all around, the most interesting part has to be Lena Headey's performance. Defiance, uncertainty, and resolve all play across her face, often seemingly at the same time. It is indeed a picture of a woman heroically struggling against an outcome she understands may come to be regardless of her actions. I would enthusiastically support further seasons of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

118. uh i guess I'm just saying what every one else has said, this show is good, and i have to say that its probably the only thing i watch besides southpark and sometimes reno 911, and i have to say its one of the first shows that i have actually been excited to watch, like i cant wait until the new episode, and it is a heck load better than that dumb moment of truth show, i wanted to cut my eyes out after watching a few minutes of that crap. but thats not important, so i really hope that they keep the show, i loved the terminator movies, i have been watching them when i was like 7, and i really think that this show continues the story a lot better than the third movie, i mean lets face it that movie was disappointing. oh and one last thing i think that every one in the show is doing a good job at there parts, especially Summer Glau, but it disappoints me that they didn't keep the old Sarah Conner, but this ones ok i guess. i hope that this worked because i really don't know if i am typing in the right spot.

123. The Terminator Movies have been a favourite of mine. To have the story flesh out like this on a weekly series is incredible. Monday nights are sealed off for me (and the subsequent repeat viewings of each episode on another network as well) This Monday is kind of empty,...I need TSCC back. I know the writers strike had an impact on this first season, although the writing was excellent and the episodes that did get aired really opened a plethora of vistas for this franchise. The cast (all of them) really bring the Terminator world to life. The season finale, which actually wasn't suppose to be the season finale, really starts to bring the feeling of desperation that these prime characters are facing. Lets not let that end. This story has to continue. I told my daughter that if TSCC gets canceled it will be the last time I watch a tv show on television. Instead I will return to reading books - they just do not get canceled arbitrarily. The only time I will watch a series will be on DvD, after it has completed 3 solid seasons without cancellation. This constant starting and ending of good stories based only on the desire to pull the highest ratings over the competition has pushed me to the end of my rope with respect to television. Perhaps there is too much competition, too many networks, and that is only dumbing down the type of shows that actually make it on television. Keep weeding the garden and you will be left with only one plant,..and one type of audience. But maybe that is what is really wanted here, since the bottom line of ratings is all that seems to matter. I'd love to see this story continue,..but if not then I'm packing in my tv watching days and heading back to print. - Zeebot

Liked the first movie, was curious about this show but did not expect to like it as much as I have -- the tone, the production values, the drama, the characters are great. I like the strong, matter-of-fact female leads (there are still too many stupid, stupid female roles on TV); I enjoy the way the show's written; much to my surprise I quite like Green as Derek Reese, and I think this is due partly to the strong way his character's written as well (plus he's doing a great job with it and he's gorgeous, let's be fair!) But my meaning is this: If you do continue the show, and I hope that you do, please encourage the writers to keep this tone -- serious, scary drama, with just a leavening of humor and more than enough character interest to keep us going! No soapy intrigue or "Buffy"-type humor (though I loved "Buffy," I would hate to see this show become that). No robot sex if you can help it. This is a scary show about the future and fighting against desperate odds and finding hope where you can, and that's what I find so affecting about it.

Like many of the authors of previous messages, the main reason I started watching T:SCC was because I am a Firefly/Serenity fan and was interested to see Summer Glau's new project since her appearances on 'The Unit' stopped. I am very interested to see where this show can go, I wasn't too much of a Terminator fan despite my scifi leanings, but I really enjoy the cast and the new aspects of their relationships that can be explored in this venue that just isn't possible in feature films. I do hope the series is continued, even if I have to watch episodes on the internet it's worth it.

It can only get larger and could easily last 10 years or more on air. Please give us a chance to help build the ever increasing fan base with another season to showcase the incredible stories, fantastic acting by all the terrific cast members. 179 I don't know what you people are thinking, but this is one of the best Terminator based entertainment that I've seen since T-2. I grew up on Terminator, and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. T-3 has no love in my heart due to the fact that it didn't really seem to continue the story line.
This is my one bit of happiness, where I get to see where T-2 left off, to hear the dangers and that the terminators are still around. What I wish they did however to really draw people in was remake the 'uncle bob' vs T-1000 fight scene and bits of T-2 with the character that Arnie so well played.

180. Randomicity912. 19 year old music student from the UK here. If you cancel the second series I'm going to stop watching TV althogether and subsequentially lose faith in the human race. TSCC is better than T3 and even beat Stargate: SG-1 (which has 10 series) and Stargate: Atlantis as my new favourite show. You have last 4 episodes of Season 1, so all you need is for the writer's to come up with 5 more episodes. Bish, bash, bosh. Sorted. Series 2. You could then continue it on for like 4 or 5 more seasons. I have been a fan of The Terminator for 11 years and TSCC is an integral part of the franchise so please don't stop it now. The Terminator has even played a role in influencing my musical compositions, TSCC most of all. This is the only show I watch regularly apart from The Mighty Boosh on BBC3 so please don't cancel as even my middle-adged parents enjoy watching it. Oh and if Cameron is 'killed off' then that also give me reason to stop watching TV etc.

189 - I have to agree with many of my counterparts here, I did stop watching FOX after the X-files and Titus were canceled, and with the Exception of the Nathan Fillon shows Firefly and Drive, I didn't even attempt to follow a show that the network has put forth since. I have always been a fan of the Terminator Idea and am suprised that it hopefully is going into season two and not season five or six. FOX has a winner with T:SSC.
Personally I must say that it's the best show that FOX has put out in memory, I'm a diehard X-files fan, and I have the complete series of Titus, both were great shows that were canceled before their times, but both shows pale in comparison to T:SCC. I am a full time student, have a full time job, and am a member of the Army Reserves, and I work my schedule around T:SSC. Keep this show alive, it's the best one not on your network, but on network TV.
190 - I hated you, it seems like FOX kept dangling that Terminator carrot just at the tip of my nose, week after week, there was a new Terminator commercial, almost all of the fall season had promos for it, and I was so sure there was no way this show could live up to the hype. Then I watched the pilot, and after Cameron hits Clamarti with the truck I called my brothers, sister, and every friend I could think of and told them to turn on fox. since Episode 3 we have picked a place and had basically a Superbowl party, except unlike the big game, this one is every week. I don't get to spend a lot of time with my family I work two jobs, and when I'm not at work, I'm out trying to attract MRS RIGHT, except for on mondays, monday I spend the evenings with my extended family: my siblings, friends, and my siblings friends.
This show has brought us together. I'd like to thank you for that ... but I'd also like to say that I haven't followed anything on FOX since FIREFLY, and if you cancel this one, I may never follow anything else, the FOX network has dissapointed me many times, and finally this show is starting to redeem you, please don't cancel it, it may be the last shot FOX has at redeeming itself in my eyes.

"Currently a lock to win the season, Fox's January-launched "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" remains the highest rated of the midseason scripted flock with an average of 10.8 million viewers and is likely to return next fall." I would just like to remind you FOX that you just renewed Prison Break for a full season. This is 20 episodes of a show that drew only 7-8 million viewers. WTF? Also I know that there is a love affair with shows that have short story arcs that follow a formula and reality TV over serial action dramas. The fans of these types of shows love them and get caught up in them. Look what happened to Jericho at CBS. It appears to not have worked out for that show but what was noticed was the alternate way people watched it. Down loads from iTunes. The same is true for T:SSC. At one time people loved SUV's also then gas prices drove people into subcompacts and hybrids. People will get tired of American Idol and Dancing with The Stars and will need something to watch. Maybe other forms of ratings and advertizing can be explored.
I would love to see this show continue and I thank Fox for letting me watch the show online for free. I appriciate that so much I bought the show from itunes. Thanks again for a great show.

Is not this the formula or chemistry network television is looking for? FOX you have a winner! Don't miss it! Bring it back.......! GREAT SHOW FOX NETWORK! - It's about time you bring Terminator Fans an intelligent program. I could never get into any of the "reality shows" and love SCI-FI. The fan base for Sci-Fi is looking for intelligent, intriguing shows that have substance. BRING ON SEASON 2 - We are waiting. I think I am more excited to see this series continue than I am for T-4/5/6. I love the casting for this show and the intelligent dialogue and consistency with the original story. I agree with 8 more seasons and please make it more than 8 shows per season. ROCK ON WITH SEASON 2! This show ranks at the top with 24, Firefly, Millennium, etc. ad nauseum. Please don't cancel. 8 weeks is not fair to this show. Maybe 8 seasons! I am from the generation that was addicted to X-Files, Millennium, and Brimstone. I could never understand how you could have sacrificed programs as intelligent as these were for mundane reality programming and cookie cutter sitcoms. Sarah Connor Chronicles depicts the same intelligent style of writing that excites an active mind like mine. I get bored easy and when shows like Battlestar Gallactica end because it is sent to cable ignoring main stream vierwership, it is refreshing to see a big network take the chance on something that undeniably takes chances from the normal way people think. Please don't make the mistake of forgetting what made Fox the network it is.
This is a great show, it has to come back. I wait every week in suspense for another hour of action packed fun.
The cast is superb and the show always leaves you wanting more.

When I watched the pilot, I was expecting a good laugh. I was damn sure this couldn't possibly be a decent show. Especially after T3 was so freakin messed up and sucked soooooooo bad. Actually I did laugh at that first scene in the pilot, where 888 draws the rifle and frags those cops... it looked just ridiculous first... but as the show went on and I got used to a black-haired Sarah I started loving it... and Summer is just PERFECT for the role... someone mentioned FIREFLY aforehand which had Summer Glau in a extraordinary role in it... I still HATE FOX for killing that show, I mean it, it was keen, hilarious and a plain great mixture of styles!!
I still watch it over and over again....
So FOX, don't mess this one up!!! GIVE US ANOTHER SEASON!!!! (... at least one...)
Posted 30 March 2008 – This show could have been a poorly done spoof of the movies. Frankly, that's what I expected. I was WRONG. The acting is terrific, the writing is first rate and the production values are phenomonal for a TV series. SCC is engaging as hell. You've created a winner here! Please bring it back for another season. And then watch out... I'll wager that it will pick up enough of an audience in season two that it will be unstoppable at that point. 215. Tridak here, Series is really one of the best things on TV right now. It's been edgy and while not quite as gritty as the original movies, hasn't suffered much in the transition. 220. TSCC is a very addictive, and intelligently written. The Terminator movies are among my favorite movies of all time, and TSCC has become my favorite show. I'm a writer myself of both television and books, largely SciFi, and I know good writing when I see it. You have a good thing in TSCC. Don't remove it from your lineup. The way season one ended gave your writers more than enough reason - not to mention, material - to bring the show back for a second run.

222. My suggestion to FOX. You must keep T:TSCC going (and going) for several reasons
1.terminator three sucked, it was to comedic and did no justice to james cameron's vision. (that and it presented too many plot holes. this series ignores thos holes an puts in a rock solid story that syncs with everything said in the first two movies (go back to the scene in T2 where john is talking to the terminator in the parking lot just before the terminator grabs john and john says "HELP! get this guy off me!" and the two guys come over at which point john dismisses them with a "get lost bozo" and one guys says "fuck you dipshit" and john says "dipshit? you calling muah, a dipshit?" and so on. blah blah but before that altercation john makes a reference about how sarah trained john for his future role as savior. (which is brought out in the scene in one episode where johns playing chess in the jungle as a child). the plot in this series is very deep and needs to be continued.
2. CMON you guys cancelled FIREFLY after its first season (MUCH to my dismay and many other's). now that we all know Summer Glau can kick serious ass (in the sexiest fashion) it would be unjust to cancel another one of her shows. (i admit i have a crush okay, so sue me).
3. Sci-Fi (and particularly Terminator fans) are rabid. we want our show. period. you saw the fan outcry after firefly was cancelled (abruptly, with no closure) you cant do this to good fans. WE LOVE FOX TOO BTW. by all means if you need to cancel something get rid of k-ville or some other stupid drama that nobody likes. you cant tell me "are you smarter than a fifth grader" is a better show. seriously.
4. most shows enjoy greater ratings in season 2 anyway. a one-season pilot is a lousy way to test a show. if the ratings are that bad, at least spend season two bringing closure to the story rather than cutting it short at the most salivating moment.

224. Fox, the Terminator TV series is the best thing you have going for you. I have long since stopped watching TV because the majority of it is garbage. What you have in the Terminator TV series is a show that, for once, people are actually anxious to see the next episode of. People will actually take the time out of their day to watch it religiously every week and actually get amped up talking about it. Taking Terminator off the network is bad for three major reasons. 1) TV sucks. Terminator fixes that. Why would you want TV to go back to being sucky? It'll affect your ratings. 2) You may be thinking of canceling it because you're not getting the ratings you want, however, imagine the negative feedback you'll get if you do take it off the air. If you think people don't watch Fox now, just wait until you do cancel Terminator. I'll wager that a lot of people, myself included, will boycott Fox permanently. 3) It is primarily your fault for getting poor ratings if that indeed is the issue. You do not count viewings of the TV series off of your web page. Maybe you'll argue that's because you don't have advertisements in the episodes on the web page? Again, that's your fault, people who watch the episodes off the web site such as myself would be more than happy to sit through commercials to watch Terminator. You have to take into account that most people watching this show are die hard Terminator fans; we're generally not going to care if we have to watch commercials if it means getting our fix of Terminator. Lastly, if ratings is such an issue to you, you could always try advertising the TV series...you barely advertised it at all, and last time I checked, advertising generally does help. In short, Terminator is the only good TV show you have on your network...to take it down would be to shoot yourself in the foot.
