What I hate the most about stories/writers is when they really build up a character, get veiwers to know and respect them, then BAM! They kill em off, quick and unexpected. True charisma and screen presence is what you've got dude. Good luck in your future acting endeavours. Now Derek, you cheated death once when JC and his crew first saved you. You fought well during your time with the Connors. Sadly your luck just ran out. The longer you deal with metal, the more likely it is they'll get you. I was the biggest cynic ever, having seen you on re-runs of 90210 during a bout of mono I couldn't possibly believe you could bring the "hardcoreness" of Kyle Reese's brother to the mythos of Terminator.... But Damn.... You proved me wrong. You were my favorite character on this show, your portrayal of Derek was amazing and I hope to see more of you in other action/drama oriented films and t.v. What I mean though is I feel like Derek didn't get a chance to redeem himself nor address more of his ability to help mentor John. In any case, I loved the idea of the charachter who was both flawed and passionate. When that happened on the 2nd to last episode, i screamed like a little girl and i bought it on iTunes and watched it over and over again crying, and then i told all my friends and got then crying too! But on the Season Finale (hopefully not series finale) when i heard his voice i screamed: "OMG THATS BRIAN AUSTIN GREENS VOICE! HES BACK! OMFJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" hes soooo hot =] every1's gotta agree with me there! | |

I can't believe he just died! That was quick. He was such a great complicated character. They need to bring him back. Sarah and John need someone else besides Cameron, eventually she will fall apart too and turn again. He needs to come back!!!! BRING HIM BACK!!!!

wow, i cant believe that happened, just out of nowhere they killed my favorite character, i really wish he would have survived into the third season, do you guys think all the characters dieing is a good thing or bad thing, i cant help but think they are gonna keep this hit show just make it a little cheaper...
also i am writing a fan fiction story that i think ou all would like , i dont consider myself a good writer but i i think i might be onto something, please reply and let me know why you think they would be killing off characters also reply if you would like to read what im writing sometime im no sure if i want to write it as a script or a short story but i think its creative in some form of the word. |

Incredible-would never have thought you'd transition so well into this Character. You nailed it and really added to the show at all levels. Superb acting, allot of fun, and I hope the series an your character return. It's one of the BEST shows on Television. Truly!
BTW-startling death sequence- - one of best on TV - shocking!..........sadf to see it. |
