Mean while Kilee was struggling to survive long enough to be rescued. The machine that had taken her kept her alive and dumped her into one of the body removal camps. She spent her days shoving dead bodies onto conveyor belts that would take then to an incinerator. Her nights where spent fighting over the meager rations the machines threw at them. She had no concept of how long she had been there. She used the knowledge that Kyle was safe to keep her going. She hoped that he would not try some fool mission to save her out of guilt about what happened. She knew that she was the only one that could save her now. One night months after being in the camp she found a gun on a body and before she could do anything a machine had grabbed her arm and ripped the gun out of her hand. It then dragged her across camp and dumped her into a hole in the ground. There was no way out. She wouldn't know how long she was in that hole. She only got food and water whenever the machines remembered that there were people in the holes. Why they kept them alive no one really knew. She never saw the sun or felt the air after being placed in that hole. She began to miss the light and the people above. Now she had no one to talk to. Though the other prisoners would kill her just to get more food, at least they talked to her. Here lost in the dark all she had where her night mares. Then one day she heard an explosion and people running above and crying out. Next she was blinded by light as a man dropped down and helped her out of the hole.
She looked into the all familiar eyes of Sarah Connor and gasped. "You are John" The man looked surprised and nodded "How did you know?" "Your mother saved me along time ago. Before she died." A sadness crossed briefly over the mans face but it was gone as soon as it came and he said "We are cut off I don't know where another exit is." "I do" Kilee said and lead him to a fence that she remembered from her time above ground. her long red hair was now matted and dirty, she was barley skin covering bones but she lead John Connor and a few others from the holes to an escape route. Once there she told Connor how to get back on the road to the resistance camp. "You can show us your coming to!" "I can't if I go the machines will follow someone needs to distract them It would be what Sarah would want. Only you must live to lead us." With that she left them and ran to the machines. She waited until everyone was out then told the nearest machine that she saw the prisoners escaping and lead them to a different section of fence. Unfortunately she lead them right to where some others where trying to get out. The machine thought these where the ones she was referring to and gave her a position in the factories to work. She would be handling the new machines helping to build them. She now had her own bed and regular rations of food. It was better but not freedom.
Back at camp Connor told Perry and Derek about the girl that saved them. When he was describing her Derek realized who she was and as soon as he was free he ran to Kyle. "She is alive Ky." seeing the puzzled look on his brothers face Derek explained. "Connor was just saved by Kilee she is alive, but remained in the camp to give them a way out." Kyle was both pleased and worried by this would she now be punished from helping the others. He knew that he needed to get her out soon. It had been 6 months.
