(starts off at the end of the season 2 finale)
Chapter 1
For a moment, there was silence. John stared at his father. There he was. The man John had always wanted to meet, looking coldly back at him. John had a mixture of pure joy and complete anguish as he stared into his fathers eyes. He could not decide which emotion was most suited.
And then, the world around him stopped. Every sound, every, face, every other molecule that the world consisted of was blurred except for the girl emerging from the darkness. For a moment, John thought he was hallucinating, he had been through so much within the past day he thought he thought his vision had got the better of him.
But this was real.
Cameron. Her hair flowed as she stepped forward and John recognized that slight grin on her face.
John stared with his mouth half open, his eyes completely glued to her face.
This was too real. When the world around him started to clear up he noticed the dog that she had knelt down to stroke. It didn't even flinch.
A single tear traced down John's face. This was not Cameron.
This did not make sense to John. Who was this girl, who reflected every single feature of Cameron's, who had the same grin that John had even lied to himself about how much he loved. The girl looked up at him and stare in confusion in response to John's expression.
"That's my coat you're wearing." Kyle said coldly.
John did not respond he was still staring painfully at the girl. It was as if looking at her burned his eyes, but he couldn't look away.
"Hello?" Kyle called out, trying to get a response from John.
The surrounding men were suddenly filled with confusion. The looked from John to where he was staring.
"Allison,"Derek asked." Do you know this boy?"
She stood up. " I've never seen him before in my life."
"Allison?" John whispered. He had heard this name before. When Cameron had lost her memory, she had claimed to be Allison. Was she an infiltrator? he thought.
"Yes." Allison replied, confused. " Can I help you?" John didn't reply.
"Listen, I don't know who you are or why you're here or why your naked and in my coat, but the longer you don't say anything the longer I think you're someone who can't be trusted." Kyle said.
"I'm. I-" John did not know what to say.
Allison, being the kind-hearted person she was, saw how this boy was in pain and saw that he was innocent.
"Just leave him. I think he's in shock." she said.
"From what?" Derek asked.
"I don't know, Derek, but we are living in a world where robots are trying to annihilate the human race." she said, mockingly.
"Don't say things like that." Derek said coldly. " A sentence like that is not something you should be saying lighlty."
John woke up in a cold, small room with dark, concrete walls. He was in an underground base that Kyle an the others had taken him. He opened his eyes to find Allison staring at him. He hated that.
"Who is Cameron?" she asked.
"What?" John asked, bewildered.
"You were talking in your sleep, I came by to bring you some food when I heard to saying that name."
John looked at her hands which were carrying a tray of food that made him miss his mother's cooking.
"Oh." he said as he took the tray...he was hungry, however.
"So, who is she?" Allison asked again.
"Just someone."
"She didn't sound like just anyone to me."
"It's nothing." he said, trying to brush it off. She noticed this and just left without allowing him to to thank her for bringing him food.
John lethargically chewed as he tried to think about each movement of his jaw, anything to keep his mind off other things that his mind should be on.
He was in the process of chewing when Allison came back in. This time she was expressionless.
"What?" he asked as she remained silent and tilted her head. "Ca-Cameron?" he croaked, his face distorted.
His face began to fade as the figure of Cameron slowly morphed into a silver mass and then into Catherine Weaver.
"You-why the hell did you do that?" John asked, angrily.
"I needed to get in here, so I transformed into Allison."
"Well, you could have chosen anyone else. Don't do that again."
"Did I upset you?" she tilted her head in the typical, cyborg way.
"Yes," John said bitterly. "You did upset me. Any luck on finding John Henry?"
"No, but I am seeing to it. It might be better for you to continue staying here until your help is needed. I will then come to you, not in the form of Allison as you wish."
John stared down at his food and pushed it around.
"You are still upset?" she asked. " I am sure we will locate John Henry in time and you will retrieve your cyborg's chip."
"It's not that. It's her. Allison. She-she is-she looks...identical to Cameron." her looked up at Weaver.
"Cameron's an infiltrator. She was made, initially, to infiltrate Allison so that she could get to you."
John sighed bitterly. " Meaning Allison was killed because of Cameron?" It was more of a statement.
"Yes, that would be so."
"Also meaning I sent Allison where ever I sent her, knowing that she would be killed so that I could have Cameron."
"Sometimes these things are necessary. Cameron is more useful to you than Allison is. Cameron is needed for you protection. The world needs John Connor."
"Not this world." John said.
"Things have changed as a result time travel, but should go back to its natural course when we go back. Yes, we will go back. We need more time to stop Skynet."
"And what will happen to Allison?"
"The same procedure. As I said, Cameron is needed for your protection."
John looked back down. How could he allow an innocent girl to be killed? But, he couldn't imagine a world without Cameron.
Allison young clasped her hand to her mouth. She was listening in on a conversation between a T-100 and the boy named John. She was stupid to be still standing there. She knew she should have gone immediately to Kyle and the others. But, she froze. She couldn't get her body to move when she heard what was said, that she was to be killed and infiltrated by a machine. That this boy was going to allow this to happen, so that he could have a machine that he...loved. This sounded insane to her. How could anyone be so attached to or trust one of them. How could any boy be as cruel as this one.
When she came to her senses, she turned around to run. She was in such a panic that she tripped. She closed her eyes, hoping they hadn't heard anything. But a moan slipped out as she fell to the floor. The passageway she was in was empty, quiet. So there was no one to call for help. To her dismay, she looked up to see the T-100 glazing down at her.
Allison quickly got up and tried to run, but John had stopped her. She tried to call for help, but his hand covered her mouth.
"Please. Don't. We won't hurt you." he was trying to calm her down.
Allison still tried to struggle free. Even though she could tell that John was telling the truth in that he wouldn't hurt her. It was the T-100 she did not trust. She looked at it as it stood, calmly. with its arms crossed.
