The war to save mankind begins now!" At the end of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sarah vanquished the T-1000 Terminator sent from the future to kill her teenage son, John. Sarah and John now find themselves alone in a very dangerous and complicated world. Fugitives from the law, they are confronted with the reality that still more enemies from the future and the present could attack at any moment. TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES reveals what happens when SARAH (Lena Headey) stops running and goes on the offensive against an ever-evolving technological enemy bent on destroying her, and the world. Her son, 15-year-old JOHN CONNOR (Thomas Dekker), knows that he is the future savior of mankind, but he is not yet ready to take on the mantle of leadership that he's told is his destiny. 	PLOT SUMMARY It has been 10 years since the events of Terminator. Sarah Connor's ordeal is only just beginning as she struggles to protect her son John, the future leader of the human resistance against the machines, from a new Terminator, sent back in time to eliminate John Connor while he's still a child. Any one see Brian Austin Green on smallville???

His character would make for a cool spin off. I know hes character is or was villain in the superman world but I really think it would of been cool if he got his own show.

well gusar you prove my point right there! Nielsen ratings cancel shows, it isnt about how good a show is. and I am not saying cpae was a well done show, it wasnt, but neither was smallville.

smallville was on the cw, it was a iconic character, superman as a teen, and most importantly tom welling was chosen for the part, add kristen and lex and demo women and men ,watched just to look at them.

If I compare the 1st 10 eps of SV to cape, I would have to say the cape was more fun and interesting to watch, and that both shows were childish and poorly conceived and written.

but smallville had enough nielsen viewers watching to stay on.

the wb put alot into smallville and expected it to be a bigger hit, but it just did good enough to stay on.

supernatural is a much better show than smallville , but never got the ratings like SV did , again just good enough to stay on.

my point also is no one knows how many people are really watching any show, it is all estimated guesswork. and therefore cant be very accurate.

also if a show is bad , but ratings keep it on more people will eventually start watching it. even bad shows have people who like it and think it is good.

most of us who watched the cape didnt like the kid, but the op here thought he was great, which proves no matter how bad someone or a show is there are those who like it.

and even if it is 25,000 nielsen families, which I doubt, I think that would include the mail ratings /sweeps stuff. 25,000 in a country of 3oo million is a very small % controlling what the rest of the america and in a way the world gets to see, or I should say keep seeing.

but it has nothing to do with the quality of a show, just the timeslot it happens to be put in, and whether the nielsen people are interested in that type of show at that time.

many times the nielsen crowd dont even try a show , so it goes away, or a few watch the first ep and drop it.

25,000 people is like what % of the population ? 1/100? and out of those 25.000 only about 500 watched smallville, so 500 people kept the show on.

if instead of estimates, they said how many nielsen people were watching all the tv shows, everyone would see what a joke it is and how a few people decide a shows fate.
