this weeks ep was one of the best , 1st part of the first 2 parter for castle.
it followed premeire of DWTS { you know the show that killed Tscc} and castle got its highest rating ever , beat csi miami, and won the hour for the first time. so I bet Nathan F. is happy. Wehn the show first started it was ok, but not all that good. but this season the actors have the characters down and it just gets better and better. it is a fun show to watch.

I've been thinking whether I should open a thread for this show or not. And my conclusion is, what the hell, let's do it.
From the moment I learned of this show, I somehow knew it'll be good. And it is. It has a really strong cast, particularly in Aly Michalka (Marti) and Ashley Tisdale (Savannah), and great writing so far. Creator and exec producer of the show is Tom Welling, known as Clark Kent in Smallville. I'm totally not the target demographic for this show, I realize it's a show about cheerleading. But... it's different from the other CW shows. It has a certain something... this energy about it... not sure how to explain it differently. Most of it comes from the main actress, who is _really_ good. So, how many here are actually watching this show? Til now I've discussed it via PM with Losa, who I hope will repost those PMs in this thread, and with tscc1000 in the German thread. This is the main reason why I decided to create the thread, no sense in fragmenting the discussion like that.

just watched the event ep 01, and it was ok, but told in flashback form which I dont like, so if they continue that I will have to blow it off.
I think the event is a world ending event. therefore the public cannot be told. someone used what looked like a wormhole at end to divert the plane. I will watch a few more to see how it goes. NBC The Event (Series Premiere) 3.7/9 11.19 good initial #'s but will they drop next week ?

__Our fault. Their fault. Nobody’s fault at all. Blame no longer is the issue. Survival is your only concern. __T-1ØØØ’s have been seen by your family/roommate/etc marching up and down the street massacring every Human (and dog) they see. The TV and radio are saying that robots have “malfunctioned” and the police and militry are saying “Stay in your homes.” They even interrupted Seinfeld and Oprah to tell you this. __You haven’t seen them yet, but you can hear the firefights in the distance; Even the police and fire sirens have gone or are going quiet. __¿What do you do NOW? Assume you are in a place you go either every day or “very regularly” (two or three times a week), pick the worst of these places, and put yourself there. Pick the best of these places, and plan on getting there, but how you get there I leave to you. Anything these places have you can use on site, or take with you IF you can carry it. __It is assumed that if you bunker down in your home or ruined building and do nothing to attract their attention they will ignore you (for the time being). __Survive for 6Ø days. You can leave your bunker point for short periods (kind of like how we might ignore a single rat running down the street).

I just saw a trailer to the movie "Inception" with L. dicaprio as a guy who set people up with dreams they want, and then goes in the dream himself to steal info/ideas. looks pretty interesting , with wild special effects. also has Ellen Page in it.
supposed to be out summer 2010. It would be a sci-fi action -suspense- thriller, and hopefully good. shutter Island, his last movie sucked due to bad story., but it still made $ aside from that am waiting for the one with stallone and other older actors. wanna let others know about a good movie feel free to do so.

Okay ~ thing is, I grew up on the original movie; my brother and I loved it and obsessed over it, with toys, games, etc ....
I STILL haven't seen the new movie yet :( I am struggling with justifying the price, and can't make up my mind . . . 1. Is it an absolute MUST to see this, in DLP? digital liquid picture + 3D which would be $12.00 before 5:pm and $14.50 at night . . . 2. See it at a regular film theater in 3D which would be $7 before 5:pm and only $9.50 at night . . . O_O I saw Avatar in DLP for $14, and have to say it was worth it 100% (without having a prior connection to it) So I understand this new Tron is like mostly CGI, but how "worth it" is it really . . .

For those of you who don't know, awhile back I was an extra on the Fox comedy. The Medieval themed episode is tonight at 9:30 ET, so set your DVRs and look for me in the crowd shots. Now I can't promise that I will actually be seen, because I don't know what shots they are going to use, etc. I'll post tomorrow about whether I was in or not, and where to find me. But who knows, maybe you'll see Buckethead on the TV screen tomorrow.
