After making forays into serious drama with the outstanding "Mysterious Skin" and borderline-mainstream fare with "Smiley Face," helmer Gregg Araki returns to his roots with "Kaboom." A campus comedy romp in which polysexual, zonked-out kids play sexual mix-and-match before discovering a plot to destroy the world, pic revisits the nihilistic hedonism of Araki's mid-'90s films, but this time around with a welcome dose of stylistic restraint, drier wit and -- dare it be said of material featuring auto-fellatio and someone being stabbed in the head -- maturity.

I want to see more matured John Connor so that he can do better in the future.
I want him to be with Cameron Phillips or shall I say "Allison Young" in the future.
Maybe he will be a better ally for the resistance against the Skynet.

"I see what you mean - it is very confusing because John Connor sent Kyle back to the past to meet Sarah who then gave birth to John.
John age approx 16-17 TDEs to the future (in Born to Run), so in theory we could have 2 JCs in the future (or alt futures), although you were right in this instance without any doubt because we saw Allison in the final scene and they were the same age,
whereas the original (old)John did not meet Allison but he did meet Cameron who was Allison's age (visually) - so perhaps we have 'cyborg snatching' if they did in fact have a relationship ??!!
All the best to you all." No, there wouldn't be two Johns in the future. John jumped forward.. he's the only one in the future. There is John Connor, 16/17 year old boy in the future. That's it. Any other Future!John.. the one that sent kyle or Derek back.. he doesn't exist anymore. He is from some alternate timeline that no longer exist.

I loved the first series of T-TSCC. And the second season was great. However, Sarah Connor teaches John Connor that all he must run. HOW IS THAT GOING TO HELP HIM WHEN HE IS THE LEADER OF THE RESISTANCE! He must fight. If there is a third season I think John needs to become a man and stop crying about the death of Derek.

john connor has to learn not run from his destiny and to fight it face on runing is the cowards way out he was tought buy his mother to stand and fight like a soilder what was that saying "get on your feet soilder on your feet" is to get courage withing you to stand up and fight in what you belive in like john had to belive in fighting the war against the machines and the hope for survial what is survial without the casue and the goal that you are surviing for.
the reason for him crying when derek died he was a link to the knowlege of his father casue derek had his father blood and courage running throught out his veains so when he looked into his eyes he seen kyles soul looking back at him and kyle was in derek all the time that how he knew how to control john and show him the wrights from the his wrongs.
