Now that my epic long story REUNION is finished, I've had some people ask me what I will be planning for the future. Good question. The immediate future will be catching up on some unfinished home repairs. I've got some new electrical wire to install and a window to repair. But that isn't what you want to hear. You want to know what I'll be writing.

Reunion was a long story divided into 3 parts of 13, 18, and 11 chapters each of 8000 to 14000+ words each. A very ambitious project for a first time author. I do have in mind a series of sequels. Each more of a novella or small novel of approximately 20 chapters each and each novella will have it's own theme. I've already worked out a series of titles and I am working what each story will be for each title. I don't know if I will include time travel as I want to focus on trying to stop Judgment Day despite the feeling or knowledge that it is inevitable. It is up to the characters to find those behind it and stop them before it is too late. If they can.

EDIT: Okay, is it even possible to do hyperlinks on this site? I've tried HTML and BBCode, and neither works. Not only that, but this bare-bones interface removes all my links. I already proved I'm not a spambot by using the Captcha when I signed up, so I don't know what the deal is. A little help would be much appreciated.

Summary: Derek and Cameron debate whether or not a machine can have a soul.

Summary: It's family movie night at the Connor household. The movie they watch fits a little too closely with their current circumstances, and forces them to think about things they'd rather not. Maybe they shouldn't have sent Cameron to get it.

Don't Be a Freak (In progress)

Summary: In an alternate timeline, John saved Jordan from jumping off the roof. This is what happens afterwards.

Three Fates, One Destiny (In progress)

Summary: Cameron tells John what happened to Allison Young, and both of them discover that Allison is not quite as dead as they imagined. Meanwhile, Ellison learns more about Weaver and how she plans on using John Henry.

After more than a month, I almost ended my fanfic. (Season 3 - script format)
I'm still translating it, and I need a beta reader for both, know how much my English sucks, and if the fanfic itself needs some corrections other than in translation.
Original version (in Italian) also available by the same link for translation comparison.
If someone wants to help me, please let me know.

As I wrote there, my fanfiction talks about...
"We have a John who is no longer the mankind leader (maybe, as he ever wished!)... but this doesn't absolutely mean he is not important (otherwise Weaver hadn't taken him!).
John will join the Resistance, more as a free lone man, having some new friends in a future where no one knows him, but everyone will do soon. But he's looking for something, and he has his secrets...
Meantime, in the present days, Sarah continues to search and to try to stop Skynet. What will she do?"

Hi,

I'm new to the world of TSCC. I started watching it this June thanks to Netflix (which is awesome). I don't know why I didn't watch it from the beginning. Anyway, I really loved the dynamic between John and Cameron. For the past 2 months I have been going through many fics and I recently came across one of those drabble fics. Well, I really liked one of the drabbles and wish the writer had expanded on it, as in continued it. But unfortunately, the writer hasn't written anything for TSCC in over year.

I though about it and got an idea that I should issue a challenge to all Jameron writers to continue the story. Obviously, a lot of you are busy writing other fics and are probably taking part in other challenges. In order to motivate people to participate, I figured I'll turn it into a contest. People like prizes :D

Congratulations on completing your story. I'm sure you worked hard on it. However, in my opinion, there are things you could do to improve your story and keep the reader engaged. What I'm going to do is provide a list of ideas. Keep in mind, I read the whole thing -- minus certain repetitive material.

01. Repetitive material. It's no necessary to cut-and-paste whole passages to expound on a scene. Your reader has already read it once and only needs a gentle reminder to setup the reader for the new material. Prime example, John Connor's discovery of who "Allison" really is. I skipped large sections and only read the new material.
02. You tried to incorporate romance and sex into a science-fiction-action story. The "groping, hands searching each other's body" descriptions are unnecessary. I understand many fans are hooked on the John Connor-Cammeron Phillips love dynamic and want to see it. But, it detracts from the story. You didn't do it right. It felt out of place. There were certain sections that I skipped simply because they weren't required. You established their intimacy. They are having sex. I get it, get past it, and return to the story.
03. I don't thing you had a good editor. There are many spelling errors and poorly constructed sentences. I found myself editing your prose often. Example: You wrote "home land" instead of "homeland" when referring to "Homeland Security".
04. Military chatter in italics. It was unnecessary to distinguish what was radio chatter by making it italicized. You probably got that idea from some book you read.
05. Military structure and lingo. You need to research it better before you try to use it. You have squads comprised of platoons. it's the other way around. Platoons are made up of squads.

It is without a doubt that the 3 of you are some of the best TSCC fan fic writers here on the wiki. Don't get me wrong there are many great fan fic writers here on the wiki but I personally believe these 3 are my favorites. So I've had this idea for a few weeks rolling around in my head and I wanted to toss it out here to see what the other wiki members thought as well as the writers themselves. So here goes.

Enigma, talli and Orsino, would the 3 of you ever consider working together on a join TSCC fan fic and releasing it to the fans here on the wiki? Personally I can't imagine how great the story the 3 of you could come up with let alone the complexity and gripping storyline and characters.

Writers and fans alike should feel free to post their thoughts here and let us know what you think. Thanks to everyone who shares their thoughts on this interesting idea!

in each chapter the writer can take the story anywhere they want , and then the next writer has to pick up where they leave off , and then they can write anything they want,
as long as it continues what the previous one has written.

I think every author would want to take pride in their own ideas. Every author has an agenda that they don't reveal to us, a vision of where they want the story to go. Very often it's not out of secrecy, but simply out of inconvenience. You would most likely want to finish your story first before you tell everyone your ideas.

The trouble with taking turns to write chapters is that it's likely the story won't get anywhere because the authors have little idea what the others are going to write. There's no greater plot outside each chapter.

If I'm going to be reading a story I can enjoy, there's going to have to be a common agenda. I would suggest the three authors get together and create a so-called "Expanded Universe." Whatever it is you want from a character or sub-plot, put it right out there on the table.

You might still write a chapter each, but first agree on the greater plot. Do some brainstorming and throw some ideas at each other. Also agree on a common format.

Maybe you could merge all your existing solo fan fictions into one (form a band lol). You can be the Fan Fiction Beatles. Write a crossover fan fiction for all your stories.

It's likely, however, that the three you mentioned are all still writing their own stories. See who else might be interested.

It is the year 2014. It has been about 11 years since Judgment day. The survivors on the east coast known as Eddie and Ashley are leading a band of survivors together. Ashley is the older sister of Eddie and has taken care of him almost all of his life. She fights to keep him protected as well as the others that are with in her cell. She listens to broadcasts from the radio and learns to survive from them. The man she listens to is known as John Connor.

As most survivors they do not believe the resistance is right in what they do. They all believe if they leave the machines alone they will be left alone. Though in time she as well as her band will learn that they will not stop ever, until they are dead.

Okay so in light of recent events I felt it necessary to drop the fan fic I've been working on for the past few weeks (before even more people flee the web site). It's called Final Days and it takes place a few days before John sends Cameron back in time. There will be a lot of flashbacks going all the way back to just after Kyle is sent back in time. And I'm really attempting to explain A LOT of back story (or future story). One thing people will notice right off the bat (in my next chapter ) is that this time line does not immediately match up with "Dungeons and Dragons" I ASSURE you there is a reason for this and it WILL BE explained in future chapters. I'm trying really hard to make all the time lines (and travel) match up from T1, T2 and TSCC. I will take any questions, comments, etc (please feel free I enjoy the feedback). Also, this is the first fan fic I've ever posted so I'm a little unsure of how to use the wiki page exactly so bear with me on that one. I plan on releasing a new Chapter every day or every other day until I catch up to where I'm writing currently. Hope you guys like it.
