It’s night. Three men scramble across post-Judgment Day rubble as distant firelight glitters off prowling terminator endoskeletons on the hill behind them.

Finding themselves boxed in, backs to a river, their leader John Connor says, “Split up and take cover. Maybe they didn’t see us.”

John finds a shallow ditch, crawls in and covers himself with a piece of twisted sheet metal.

Heavy footsteps approach, crunching bleached skulls. They stop at his hiding spot. Face down, he can’t look up.

The sheet metal is ripped away. John turns and gazes up at a silvery endoskeleton towering above him, moonlight reflecting off its surface into his eyes.

He tries to bolt but a powerful foot shoots out and pins him to the dirt.

The terminator’s terrifying death’s head bends down to him, almost touching his face, and says, “It’s me, Cameron. You should stay down until the others pass us. Then come with me if you want to live. I still love you John; do you still love me?” 1 out of 1found this valuable. Do you find this valuable? Do you?

I get three shots, right? Second:

They run out of money. Cam says, “I can work as a ballet dancer,” remembering her skill during “The Demon Hand” story.

Her career is successful, of course. Her perfect ballet performances catch the eye of a rising Hollywood producer, and he casts her as a cyborg in his scifi series. They make a movie out of it later.

She is nominated for an Academy Award. On the red carpet at the awards ceremony, she wears a beeyootifull Dolce & Gabbana gown with Christian Louboutain high heeled sandals and Bvgari necklace and earrings. She carries a Fendi bag.

She wins for best performance by an actress in a leading role.

In her Oscar acceptance speech she says, “I want to thank everybody that helped to make this possible, especially my dearest John Connor.” Sadly, Skynet uses this to find John, but John survives. 1 out of 1found this valuable. Do you find this valuable? Do you?

Spying on military jet radio chatter, John overhears a pilot say, “Omigod, it’s a UFO with three dots.” Sarah feels she must interview the pilot herself ASAP, and Sarah, John, and Cameron speed to Edwards AFB in their pickup.

In their haste, they crash into a speeding ambulance on their way. Right there, a pregnant woman in the ambulance gives birth. Sympathetic and remembering neighbor Kacy, Sarah attends to the mother and hands the newborn to Cameron.

With mother and baby on board, they forge on to Edwards, where they kidnap the pilot. John and Sarah torture him, and he says the three dots were an hallucination then he dies from their torture. Meanwhile, the mother gets sick and dies from complications associated with childbirth. John is depressed and blames Sarah for these deaths.

Cameron holds the crying baby and says, “Don't cry Allison, Aunty Cam will take care of you.” out of found this valuable. Do you find this valuable?

"working as a prostitute"

This is a great thread,.Although Summer is cast as an action star, it's to be expected that she is the lust interest for scifi nerds because she is so good looking. This thread provides an outlet, a mode for expression.

Girls should not be offended to read here. Some of the guys who have spoken so eloquently in other threads and for whom I have developed so much respect have said such sexist things here that I have had to reexamine my opinions of them. But, girls know that this is the way of the world.

I think that there are interesting and non-sexist things that can be said that satisfy the OP topic that aren't offensive to Summer. I'm working on this. I hope you all find my conributions entertaining. 1 out of 1found this valuable. Do you find this valuable? Do you?

Hmm. Yeah. Cool. Ive got a mental image of sex with a shapeshifter. Best not to say any moer.

Post #36 by Dr._Allison_Cameron:
"Actually, I would like you to describe your mental image. Please provide as much detail as possible."

No no detail. But think of this -- shapeshifter's tendrils slip into reproductive orifices, changing shape and size, filling voids and expanding, engulfing glands and massaging, pulsing in time with a keen knowledge of your physiological reactions, sensitive to your build up to release, and mercilessly prolonging it until you are completely drained, exhausted beyond consciousness. Works for both genders. Say no more.

"Actually, I would like you to describe your mental image. Please provide as much detail as possible"

Now I ... I feel so ... so soiled. H-he asked me so nicely. I ... just wanted to do him a favor.

I did say “Best not to say any moer” up front!

Im so sorry if I offended everyone. Please forgive me. Please. This isn’t what I wanted! (Just let me put my clothes back on.) I can’t help it if I’m so very kinky and have a good imagination.

I kept it clean too. I did!

It wasn’t me! “I love you John!!”

Comment: This was a fairly decent thread that ran to five pages. I was amused to see my post #36 stimulated some extreme reactions, some very positive and some very negative. Probably the negative ones reacted to the positive ones by complaining about the thread to the mods, who ultimately deleted the whole thing.

Let me throw out some of my own opinions. Step back and look at the arc of John’s feelings about Cameron.

At the first high school, he was intrigued by her as a pretty classmate who appears interested in him. When she saves his life, he is grateful. And when she shows her abilities, he is impressed. When she stays with him and keeps him at the center of her attention, he is pleased. Outside, intellectually, he tells himself she is a just a robot and he shouldn’t feel an attraction.

Inside, emotionally, he falls in love with her, but he probably doesn’t even realize it. But she knows how he feels inside. And she uses it against him in Samson and Delilah when she says, “I love you, John, and you love me.” Suddenly, appallingly, he not only realizes that this is true, but he also realizes that this machine knows it better than he himself. He is hurt. She has used his humanity against him. His weakness is his love.

He fights against this throughout the rest of season 2. He is conflicted about Cameron, and he sought shelter and solace with Riley. But to no avail. With Riley gone and Sarah taken away, he is alone with Cameron when she breaks him. On the bed, touching, faces inches apart, looking into her big, liquid eyes, he cuts her open and feels inside – a terribly intimate act. She tells him it’s time to go, but his feelings have just swelled up and filled all of his thoughts. At this point, he cannot leave her.

Seeing her deactivated in the Zeira Corp. basement was more than he could take. Grasping at straws, he chooses to jump with Weaver, only to find himself completely emasculated with nothing. Tragic. Love has stolen everything from him . . . 10 out of 10found this valuable. Do you find this valuable? Do you?

"IAM COOPER REYNOLDS, OBEY ME! "

Gulde!

That's not nice. Do you think Cooper would talk to Summer that way? It's a very dominant tone.

Unless you're saying she would enjoy being the submissive to his dominant? Do things for him?

I would assume she wants what all girls want. Someone who treats them nicely and is well-endowed. And I don't mean daddy's trust funds either. If that's who he is, then she's a lucky girl. 0 out of 1found this valuable. Do you find this valuable? Do you?

Well, yah. Sure . . . How about this:

They should have sex. And for those two, hmm, hmm, it should be rough sex. Yep, very unapproved sick stuff.

John should act unwilling. He should be a little concerned -- turned off -- by the idea of having sex with a machine. He shouldn't want it. He thinks it's simply wrong. Toaster, etc.

Cam should have some kind of a chip malfunction. Yeah, that way she's got an excuse. Only instead of killing John Connor, now she's thinking of violating him sexually.

She forces him. They struggle, but of course he can't win against a terminator, not against her. And he wants it even though he doesn't want it. As she flattens him on the bed, he gets turned on, despite himself. And then it just happens. Yeah. 6 out of 7found this valuable. Do you find this valuable? Do you?

17. RE: Is Summer's mole really gone?
Dec 15 2009, 1:13 PM EST | Post edited: Dec 15 2009, 1:13 PM EST (edit my post)
"Is Summer's mole gone or not? All this speculation began after an image from the production of Dollhouse appeared in which her mole appeared to be gone. Now for me it is a non-issue. Was it hidden my makeup? Did she have it removed? If she had it removed then I say good, because moles can become dangerous to ones health. It is also possible the mole was it hidden by makeup for the purpose of giving her character a different look."

In the finest tradition of TSCC open questions, I must report the following.

The mole is gone. I read this from a blog I don't remember anymore, and the blogger said she heard it from a good friend of the niece of the half sister of one of the caterers on the show.

The mole has been gone for a year, and the makeup guys have been putting on a prosthetic mole for filming. The mole is an obvious imperfection, and it is supposed to symbolize Cameron's glitch, to show that she has something wrong with her.

Toward the end of Season 2, the story goes that she overcame her glitch, so the mole became smaller and disappeared altogether just before the jailbreak. This might not have been so obvious in the BtR ep due to the specific camera angles employed.

Of course, during the jailbreak, Cameron took a lot of damage, and once again she became imperfect., in fact far from perfect. To symbolize that, the makeup guys made the mole much bigger. It was so big, you could see her metal skull and red eye beneath where her regular flesh would have been.

Most viewers thought that was battle damage to her face, but a careful frame-by-frame examination of the Blu-ray vid by one unnamed fan showed she suffered no gunshots to the face. What we saw was in fact a greatly expanded mole.

On Dollhouse, they just chose to leave the prosthetic off, since Bennett's imperfection is represented by her arm in a sling.

Is Andy Goode's father the missing link?
Jan 6 2010, 3:18 PM EST | Post edited: Jan 6 2010, 3:18 PM EST (edit my post)
We don’t know much about this deceased gentleman. Most of what we have is from a conversation between Andy and Sarah in The Turk.

Sarah: What's that language you speak, boy?
Andy: Computer science. Caltech. Advanced...Dork.
Sarah: And what would you do with a computer degree from Caltech?
Andy: I don't know. I never got one.
Sarah: Really?
Andy: My father died senior year. Mom went a little off the rails. I dropped out to help.
Sarah: I'm sorry.
Andy: That was a long time ago, but... Thanks anyway. She's good. She married the security guard at her bank.

With this, we can speculate about a few things. out of found this valuable. Do you find this valuable?

Jan 6 2010, 3:18 PM EST | Post edited: Jan 6 2010, 3:18 PM EST (edit my post)
Imagine:

1) Since Andy is smart enough to have been a computer science major at Caltech, maybe it runs in the family and his father was a smart computer expert.

2) Since Andy had a summer job at Cyberdyne, maybe his father worked there, since summer internships sometimes are granted to the children of employees at many U.S. companies.

3) Andy’s father could have been one of the senior workers on Miles Dyson’s team developing a pre-Skynet AI.

4) Andy’s father survived Sarah’s destruction of Cyberdyne.

5) He was hired by another research firm that was interested in completing the pre-Skynet AI development, perhaps at the urging of the Air Force, which wanted a Skynet.

6) He succeeded in creating Skynet and his Skynet was the cause of the Judgment Day at the end of T3.

7) John and Kate, who survived Judgment Day in T3 hiding in an underground military command post, sent an assassin back in time to kill Andy’s father after the Resistance got a TDE.

8) After the Resistance assassin killed Andy’s father, Andy dropped out of Caltech, and this resulted in him eventually creating the first Turk in his spare time. Had he stayed in school, he would not have had the time to do this.

9) After Sarah burned the first Turk, Andy made Turk 2.

10) After Weaver acquired and redirected Turk 2 to become John Henry, Kaliba became Skynet.

Thus, Andy’s father would be the missing link that connects TSCC to T3. Also, this scenario would put TSCC as the surviving future, with the future of T3 being wiped out.

I understand that we have been told that TSCC is based only on T1 and T2 and is not intended to connect to T3. But as I said on another thread about this, there has not been much new material since the end of TSCC and T4, and I’m bored but still fascinated by the franchise. And I must thank Termi-Ninja-Tor for some of these ideas. out of found this valuable. Do you find this valuable?

My answer to JAY. I would have posted it to the news of Avatar, but it didn't work!

"

First of all, this thread has been derailed from Chris' original public apology to now a discussion about Avatar. While I don't want to continue the derail, I will just say my piece and leave it at that.

To MetalShifter, you miss the very point that you are making. James Cameron did not want a good story for Avatar. He wanted an old worn out story like Pocahantas, and that's what he got.

His goal was to feature the CGI + 3D. He wanted to make Avatar a blockbuster without a good story, just to prove the importance of the technology. And he succeeded, BIG time.

I understand that you may not have liked it because you wanted a better story, but you are clearly in the minority.

From Cameron's point of view, God forbid that Avatar would have had a good story and people said they liked it because of the story. Much better for him if people said Avatar had a lousy story but they liked it because of the CGi + 3D. That's his success.

Cameron has been a good film maker. Mentioned above were T1, T2, and Aliens. All three were simple concepts, basically Frankenstein run-downs, where a brave damsel-in-distress is chased by some unspeakable monster but she wins in the end. That these were good and memorable movies just shows how good Cameron is at this kind of stuff. We enjoyed the how, not so much the why. 3 out of 3found this valuable. Do you find this valuable? 5. RE: Another awesome TSCC website.
Apr 28 2011, 11:26 PM EDT (edit my post)
This is all so predictable. Hari Seldon would have plotted every move using his science of psychohistory.

First, we have a populous society, teeming with opinions and conversations, all held together by a common interest, TSCC

Then the show ends, and without this common bond, the energetic population slowly fractures into deeply divided groups committed to intense infighting.

The first wave leaves to seek Peace. They achieve it, though at the cost of bearing puritanical enforcement.

The second wave leaves to seek Freedom. They achieve it, establishing a fertile ground where they flourish and grow over time.

Inevitably, there are still diehards who have remained at the old home ground, eccentrics and iconoclasts who seem pleased to roam the formerly busy threads, now tossing out opinions like inmates at an asylum, unchallenged by others.

And so who or what is this new wiki? Is it the Second Foundation? The renewal, the Fresh Start, the rebirth? Or will it fade away and be recorded in a footnote of the TSCC wiki history books? We'll see. 1 out of 1found this valuable. Do you find this valuable? Do you?
